0:16 Episode #9 Why We Fight from the miniseries🎖Captain🏅 🎯America🇺🇲 the🪖 Super Soldier🛡 (the Meralim) (Daniel 12:1; Nahum 3:3; Revelation 6:2) Why We Fight Why We Fight Episode: 9 Preceded by: "The Last Garrison" Followed by: "Points" Focus: Bucky Barnes Subject: Occupation of Germany "Why We Fight" is the 9th episode of Captain America: Super Soldier. It follows Easy Company as they take part in the occupation of Germany, as well as liberating a Nazi concentration camp, all seen through the eyes of Captain Bucky Barnes. Synopsis Easy Company is finally in Germany and is pushing the Germans back further than ever. Things could not be better; some soldiers are already saying that the war is over. Captain Barnes, however, has become pessimistic. His paratroopers aboard the 17th Airborne Division were shot down in combat jumps from the downed plane into the occupied country, and things at home are not looking bright for him either. But Barnes and the others soon discover that there is something more sinister in the dark, and they soon learn that the Nazis are worse than they ever imagined. Alternate History The episode begins with Easy overseeing the cleanup of a German village; local German citizens are clearing the street of rubble from houses and buildings. A string quartet is playing a somber Beethoven piece. Luz, Perconte, Liebgott, Webster, and Randleman are sitting on the second floor of a house overseeing the progress when Barnes joins them. A flashback shows Easy arriving in Germany, near Munich. Captain Bucky Barnes returns to his unit clearly upset; he made a combat jump with the 17th Airborne Division, and his plane was destroyed shortly after he jumped, killing all the paratroopers on board. As Barnes reflects angrily on the unenviable task of informing the families of the men who were shot down, Rogers consoles his friend about his excessive drinking of Gallantine's. He also informs Barnes that Sink is demoting him from Battalion HQ, and that he must tell the parents that their sons died as war heroes. "Do you really still believe that?" Barnes scoffs. "Yes. Yes, I do." Rogers responds. Meanwhile, Easy's men are having a good time. Private Janovec is on a date with a German girl only to be interrupted by Captain Spiers, who is sending home several valuables he has looted from wealthier homes. Sergeants George Luz and Frank Perconte scavenge a farm for eggs to make an omelet; George tries to flirt with a German farm girl but ends up getting slapped in the face. A replacement, Private Patrick O'Keefe, is sent to an outpost with Perconte. O'Keefe has not seen any combat, and his overly eager and optimistic attitude offends the hardened Perconte, who lashes out in a verbal tirade. He tells O'Keefe that he spent two years away from home watching his fellow veterans die on the battlefield, and occupying Germany is the first time he has truly been able to relax. Barnes informs Rogers and Speirs that President Franklin D. Roosevelt has passed away in America. The next day, Barnes receives a letter from his wife; she is asking for a divorce. The 17th Airborne Division departs for Landsberg, its new headquarters, to deal with Waffen-SS infantrymen who have been ordered by Hitler to fight a guerrilla war in the Alps. As Easy Company drives Willys jeeps and Dodges T-207 WC-3s (weapons carriers without winches) through Bavaria, the paratroopers begin to sing "Blood upon the Risers", with Barnes briefly joining in. Along the way, they witness over 300,000 newly captured German POWs marching; realizing that they continue to march proudly even in defeat, Webster begins to rail angrily at the Germans for starting a war they could never have hoped to win, and taking the lives of him and his fellow soldiers. When he shouts "What are we doing here?!", Barnes' expression indicates that he agrees with Webster. When they witness a French firing squad summarily shooting three German soldiers, O'Keefe is shaken, but Perconte simply shrugs him off, while Liebgott looks smug. Barnes enters a German house uninvited in search of more Gallantine's and breaks a photo of a German officer; the German officer's wife appears and gives him a cold stare. Sergeants Randleman, Christenson, Perconte, and Luz are sent on garrison duty, taking O'Keefe with them. Perconte asks Luz if the forest reminds him of Bastogne. At the edge of the forest, they discover a German concentration camp. Perconte races back on foot to Landsberg to find Major America. Major America and the rest of the company arrive on the scene and see firsthand the horrific conditions to which the POWs were subjected; even the most hardened and ruthless veterans of Easy, including Captain Spiers, are horrified. Lieutenant Lipton orders the men to bring blankets and give the POWs and war any food or water they are carrying. Liebgott translates the account of a captive who tells them that they are all Jews (musicians, clerks, artists, teachers), Poles or Gypsies, considered "undesirable" by the Germans. A few days earlier, SS soldiers had burned the huts, killing some of the captives; when others resisted, the SS soldiers began shooting at them until they "ran out of ammunition", then fled, leaving the survivors behind. Barnes comments somberly that someone in the town must have told them that the Americans were coming. The captive comments that there is a similar camp for captives at the next train stop, then walks away weeping helplessly. All the captives are faint, seriously ill or starving, some so weakened that they literally fall over trying to approach the Americans. Many more are lying dead and wounded throughout the area, Malarkey and Heffron grimly notice the numerical markings on the arms of the captives. Randleman and Luz discover a hut crammed with living captives and victims lying shoulder to shoulder, and Major America opens a boxcar to find it crammed with victims. Horrified, Perconte walks away, only to see a captive salute him, which he immediately returns. He comes across O'Keefe, who breaks down in tears at what he sees, but eventually leaves him alone. Easy races back to Landsberg Village and gathers food and water for the survivors; When the local baker protests the cleansing of his business, Webster angrily threatens him at gunpoint and accuses him of collaborating with the Nazis, unless he has "never seen" the concentration camp. Rushing back with supplies, Easy's men distribute them to the POWs. However, when Colonel Sink arrives with the battlefield surgeon, Major America and Barnes are told that they are not to continue feeding the survivors. The surgeon claims that the survivors' vital systems are unable to handle the massive ingestion of food and that they need to be monitored closely as they recover. The POWs are forced to remain within the concentration camp's barbed wire fence, to prevent them from straying from the area and potentially spreading disease, an announcement that Liebgott is ordered to make. He does so, promising the POWs that it is only temporary and that food, supplies, and medicine are coming, but the survivors' pitiful protests make him cry. That night, back at battalion HQ, Rogers tells Barnes that concentration camps like the one they found are being discovered all over Eastern Europe. Rogers tells of a concentration camp ten times larger that had been liberated a few weeks earlier by the Russian Army, equipped with gas chambers and crematoria. He also says that local Germans will be involved in the clean-up missions, which will begin the following morning and will involve exhuming Jewish victims and burying them. One of the ladies involved in the clean-up is the same lady whose house Barnes entered uninvited; he gives her a cold stare. The episode flashes back to the German village being cleaned up. Barnes announces to his Easy Company comrades that Hitler has committed suicide, but the war is not over yet. Easy Company has been ordered to the Eagle's Nest in Berchtesgaden. Webster bitterly says that Hitler should have taken his own life three years ago and spared everyone the trouble. Barnes grimly agrees, but since Hitler did not, they must move.

0:16 Episode #8 🗺🗼🛸The Last🪂🇨🇵🚀 Garrison of the miniseries🎖Captain🏅 🎯America🇺🇲 the🪖Super Soldier🛡(the Meralim) (Daniel 12:1; Nahum 3:3; Revelation 6:2) The Garrison The Last Garrison The soldiers of Easy Company go on a garrison accompanied by a flying combat shield (UFO) over the French city of Hagenau, in a raid on the German soldiers' barracks. Episode: 8 Preceded by: "The Breaking Point" Followed by: "Why We Fight" "The Last Garrison" is the 8th episode of Captain America: Super Soldier. It follows the perspective of Private Webster as he tells this episode of how the members of Easy Company, who had been psychologically impacted in Bastogne, go on a garrison in Hagenau for prisoners of war. Webster's personal memories were of great use in the writing of this episode. Synopsis David Webster has finally returned to the battlefield after being wounded in the Netherlands. However, his fellow soldiers have endured much without him and resent him for not returning sooner, as other soldiers have done. Another soldier, Lieutenant Jones, a new addition as a recent West Point graduate, is also struggling to find acceptance, quickly barred from participating in what may be the company's last field mission. Using the officer, Webster may be able to rekindle his lost friendships and grant the replacement officer's wish to see combat. Alternate History The episode begins with Private David Webster returning to Easy in the French town of Hagenau after a long rest following his injury at the Battle of the Crossroads in Holland. The other members of Easy, having fought at Bastogne and Foy, act coldly toward him, resentful of his non-participation in these two important battles. Their collective resentment stems from Webster's long stay in the hospital and his lack of effort to return quickly and rejoin the company. Webster then recognizes T/4 Macken, but at first Macken does not remember Webster. Webster then walks to his old unit, Easy Company's 1st Platoon, but has to explain to his CO, Lt. Jack E. Foley, that he was part of the company. When he asks where Corporal Don Hoobler is, Webster gets no answer. PFC. Roy W. Cobb and SSgt. John W. Martin tell Webster to report to 2nd Platoon. In the truck are T/5. Joe Liebgott, SSgt. Donald G. Malarkey, and Private Eugene Jackson. Liebgott says that Malarkey will be promoted to 2nd Lieutenant, but he means 1st Sgt. Carwood Lipton. Webster is also treated with resentment by the men there. Liebgott thinks that Webster must have enjoyed being in recovery because the 101st Airborne Division left Holland four months ago. Webster says he was at the replacement depot, and Liebgott says he certainly tried to help them at Bastogne, though Webster doesn't know how he could have done that. Liebgott says that PFC. Robert E. "Popeye" Wynn found a way out of the hospital, as did SSgt. William J. "Bill" Guarnere. "Yeah, where's Guarnere? Is he still your platoon sergeant?" Webster asks. "No," Jackson replies, "he was shot." The truck stops and they reach Hagenau, and Heffron explains to Webster that Guarnere's foot was blown off at Foy. A garrison is planned for the night: 15 men will cross a nearby river to capture German soldiers for intelligence retrieval. Joining Easy's company is a young second lieutenant, Jones, who is a West Point graduate. Gaining acceptance from the Easy members proves as difficult for the young lieutenant as Webster's attempts to join them. Webster begins to show diplomatic skill by convincing both Captain America and Captain Speirs to allow the inexperienced combat officer Lieutenant Jones to join the garrison, replacing the exhausted Sergeant Malarkey. Webster removes Liebgott from the garrison by telling Captain America that they both speak German and that there are 16 soldiers when Captain America requested 15. Captain America orders Liebgott to remain on the Allied side of the river and provide artillery cover. The garrison crosses the river in inflatable boats; one of them capsizes. As they approach the building where the German soldiers are quartered, a young soldier, Jackson, runs into the building after throwing a grenade and is seriously wounded. The rest of the platoon rushes into the building and captures three German soldiers. As they retreat with their POWs, the remaining German forces open up with artillery. One of the POWs is hit and remains on the riverbank. Reaching the opposite side, the platoon takes Jackson and the POWs to the basement of the battalion headquarters. Several men, still feeling the effects of the adrenaline of the mission, are ready to attack the prisoners of war in retaliation for Jackson, who is shot while being treated by Dr. Roe. Lieutenant Jones manages to restore order. The next morning, Captain America wearing the circular (flying) combat shield (UFO) on his forearm and Speirs observe the building mined with planted explosives during the garrison. Lieutenant Colonel Sink orders another garrison to be scheduled for that night. Captain America, wearing the flying saucer shield (UFO) between his shoulders, meets with the soldiers later and explains that this garrison will operate the raid on the opposing garrison for more prisoners of war. Captain America tells the Easy Company soldiers that the garrison will leave that night, but then orders the soldiers to sleep through the night and report to Captain America that the soldiers have gone to garrison Hagenau. The Easy Company soldiers go on a garrison accompanied by a flying saucer shield (UFO) over the French city of Hagenau, in a raid on the German soldiers' garrison, but no German soldiers are captured. The men of Easy Company are relieved. Having participated in a cross-artillery battle between M1919s and MG 42s, both young Lieutenant Jones and Webster are now accepted as full members of Easy Company. Webster is welcomed back to Easy as they leave Hagenau. Casualties Sgt. William F Kiehn (shot in action) Infantryman Eugene E. Jackson (shot) Trivia Forrest Guth's role in the garrison as an interpreter at Hagenau was replaced by David Kenyon Webster. Webster was not actually in that garrison, but was involved in the garrison assigned to cover the garrison across the river with a Browning M1919.

0:16 Episode #7 The Breaking Point of the miniseries🎖Captain🏅 🎯America🇺🇲 the🪖Super Soldier🛡(the Meralim) (Daniel 12:1; Nahum 3:3; Revelation 6:2) The Breaking Point The Breaking Point Episode: 7 Preceded by: "Bastogne" Followed by: "The Last Patrol" Focus: C. Carwood Lipton Subject: The Battle for Foy "The Breaking Point" is the 7th episode of Captain America: The Super Soldier. It is seen from the point of view of 1st Sgt. C. Carwood Lipton as he observes several men near the breaking point in the Ardennes. Lipton also serves as the narrator. In this episode, Dike is replaced by Lieutenant Speirs, who manages to lead the men in the capture of Foy. Synopsis The company is still trapped in Bastogne and is succumbing to the harsh, cold winter. Despite this, things are looking up! They must take the town of Foy and finally end the dreaded winter. There is only one problem: Lieutenant Norman Dike. He is never around, he is incompetent, and he never knows what to do. With no real commander to lead them, First Sergeant Lipton must do everything he can to keep the company strong, but what will they do when the fateful day comes when Dike leads them into battle? Alternate History The episode begins on January 2, 1945 in the Ardennes Forest in the town of Foy, where First Sergeant C. Carwood Lipton, First Lieutenant Lynn D. "Buck" Compton, and Sergeant William J. "Wild Bill" Guarnere are reading a map on the back of Sergeant Donald G. "Malark" Malarkey. When Malarkey stands up with the map, Compton is joking that he will pin the map to Malarkey's head, and Guarnere is assembling the 2nd Platoon. The next day, January 3, a German SS officer is riding a horse when he is ambushed by Donald Hoobler, Private Lester "Les" Hashey, and Sergeant Burton P. "Pat" Christenson. The SS officer attempts to gallop away and is hit in the head by an M1 Garand fired by Hoobler. Hoobler searches the wounded SS officer and finds a Luger pistol, one of his prized possessions since joining the paratroopers. After the incident, Hoobler tells everyone he has found one, including Lipton and Sergeant Darrell C. "Shifty" Powers. Powers is digging a trench when Hoobler brags amiably that he may be a better shot than Powers. Shifty replies that he himself is not as good as his own father. After the conversation, Hoobler is going to test his new souvenir. Lipton and Powers are joined by Compton and Malarkey. Compton wants to know where Easy Company's commander, Lieutenant Dike, is. Lipton can't answer exactly, because no one knows where Dike is going. Lipton then says that two men were wounded. A sudden gunshot is heard, and Lipton, Compton, Malarkey and Powers duck into Shifty's foxhole. Hashey appears and says that Hoobler accidentally shot himself. The men go to his foxhole to help, but they can't find the wound fast enough, and Hoobler is bleeding out. The Luger he had tucked into his pants pocket inexplicably goes off, hitting his femoral artery. Lipton tells Captain America about the incident, carrying a circular (flying) combat shield (UFO) between his shoulders. When Captain America asks why Lieutenant Dike isn't relaying the news, Lipton says it's because Dike is nowhere to be found. Captain America that night talks to his friend Captain Bucky Barnes about who could replace Dike, understanding that Dike is not a good leader because he is never around and never really relates to the men. After comparing the officers, they realize that one is too strict, one is not very good ("God bless America", as Captain America says), leading them to realize that the only real choice is Compton, as he is a good combat leader. But they are stuck with Dike anyway because he is the favorite among the higher-ups in the company. Later, Dike randomly asks Lipton where he is from, which leads to an awkward conversation between the two and Dike leaves Lipton mid-sentence. The next morning, we see Frank Perconte, Pat Christenson, and Harold Webb discussing the rumor about what Lieutenant Speirs did in Normandy and how he shot some German POWs after offering them cigarettes. Speirs himself appears and tells them that the trench they dug needs to be deeper and better camouflaged, but they say that Dike said it was good enough. He then offers them a cigarette, and the men's faces show horror at the story about the POWs. Easy returns to the front line in the woods outside Foy. As they dig new trenches and strengthen the existing ones, they are bombarded several times. A grenade hits very close to Joe Toye, and his right leg is hit above the knee. Bill Guarnere runs over and begins to drag Toye to safety when another grenade explodes near the two, hitting Guarnere's right leg again. As Compton approaches the two men, he suddenly has trouble calling a medic; the shock of the situation becomes Compton's "breaking point", and he is pulled from the front lines.

0:59 Episode #4 Miniseries Replacements🎖Captain🏅 🎯America🇺🇲 the🪖Super Soldier🛡(the Meralim) (Daniel 12:1; Nahum 3:3; Revelation 6:2) "You rookies, pay attention to Sergeant Randleman. Got it? He's the smartest man in the company." ― Sergeant William Guarnere talking to the replacements about Sergeant Denver Randleman Replacements is the 4th episode of the Captain America: Super Soldier miniseries. It follows the reports of Easy Company landing in Holland for the Market Garden Mission with a batch of new replacements. It follows the point of view of Sgt. Denver Randleman. Synopsis Hoping to end the war, Easy Company participates in a high-risk mission called Market Garden with rookies who must prove their worth. But after a bloody encounter with the Krauts, they must voluntarily escape. However, Sergeant Denver Randleman is left behind and will do anything to survive. Alternate History Private Edward Heffron with three original Toccoa men The men of Easy Company are finally relieved from the war in Normandy and are now enjoying their downtime at a pub in Aldbourne, England. 2nd Lieutenant Lynn Compton is playing darts with replacement Private Edward Heffron. Nearby, Sergeant William Guarnere, Sergeant John W. Martin, and Sergeant Denver "Bull" Randleman are examining Randleman's new squad of replacements: Privates Antonio Garcia, James Miller, and Lester Hashey. Guarnere sits down with the squad and berates them about following Bull's orders in the field. Private Roy Cobb, apparently irritated by the replacements receiving the battalion unit citation for Easy's efforts in Normandy, which the replacement troops did not participate in, questions Miller about wearing the citation ribbon. Disheartened, Miller leaves the table and his citation tape behind. Picking up the tape, Randleman reminds Cobb that he never fought in Normandy either (Cobb was wounded inside the plane and never made it out), much to the latter's humiliation. Walter Gordon then introduces the new company, 1st Sergeant Carwood Lipton, who announces that they are moving again, earning silence from the men as they realize their reprieve is over. Captains Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers lecture the men about the upcoming Market Garden Mission, where they will jump into the Netherlands and liberate the city of Eindhoven and eventually the Netherlands itself. Easy will be under the command of British forces, drawing anguish from the company in their briefing. After successfully completing the high-risk mission, they must cross the Rhine River and defeat the German forces quickly to end the war by Christmas. Barnes tells them that intelligence has determined that the opposing forces in the Netherlands are primarily old men and children and will not be an imposing force. As the men prepare to jump, Captain Herbert Sobel, Easy Company's first CO, arrives at the airfield along with Private Robert Wynn, who has returned and was wounded in action during the Brecourt Manor Raid. Sobel, as the newly appointed Regimental S-4, confronts Sergeant Donald Malarkey who has been seen driving an abandoned motorcycle, which he denies. September 17, 1944 Sergeant Frank Perconte receives a marshmallow hell from a Dutch lady The Market-Garden Mission begins and the men parachute into the Netherlands, where they receive a hero's welcome in the city of Eindhoven. Barnes and Captain America expect more resistance, with the other men struggling to keep moving amid the joyous celebration of the Dutch people, who have clogged the streets. Meanwhile, a group of women who had romantic relationships with the Germans are being publicly humiliated, with their hair being indecently cut. As Barnes and Captain America watch the locals fraternize with the women, the Dutch Resistance comes to meet them, and eventually the tanks arrive on their way to the bridges. The night before approaching the town of Nuenen, Corporal Donald Hoobler with Privates David Webster and Robert van Klinken encounter a Dutchman who has emerged from his air raid shelter. The Dutchman's son also emerges from the shelter, and Webster gives the nervous child a chocolate bar, much to the child's delight. The Dutchman claims that his son has never tasted chocolate before. The next day, the unit approaches the village of Nuenen on patrol. They see one of the women the villagers had gathered with the day before for a celebration holding a child. Corporal Francis Mellet gives her one of his ration boxes. As they enter Nuenen, Lieutenant Robert Brewer, riding far ahead of the column, is suddenly shot in the neck by a sniper. The men exit the tank and quickly run to a ditch while Randleman helps the wounded Brewer. Meanwhile, a half-track is destroyed by one of the unit's Sherman tanks. The men manage to reach the town where they halt at their combat positions among the houses and other structures.

0:59 Episode #4 Miniseries Replacements🎖Captain🏅 🎯America🇺🇲 the🪖Super Soldier🛡(the Meralim) (Daniel 12:1; Nahum 3:3; Revelation 6:2) Sergeant John Martin and Randleman spot a camouflaged Tiger tank. Martin, with Heffron, rush to warn the Shermans that they are being led by the British. Oblivious, the British commander, who cannot see the tank, refuses to blow up the side of a brick house to target the tank because he is forbidden to destroy property when unnecessary. As it advances, the Tiger blows up the lead Sherman. An MG-42 unit opens fire from a nearby parapet. Compton has one of his men equipped with a rifle grenade blow up the parapet. While taking cover, Miller is hit by a shell. Hashey and Garcia see Miller's dead body, both of whom are temporarily stunned. As they retreat, Compton is shot in the buttock and says that he should be left behind, as he is too heavy for the men to lift. Unwilling to leave him behind, the men find a way to carry him out by grabbing a nearby door and dragging Compton out. Another Sherman is hit by one of the German tank destroyers and bursts into flames, but continues to advance unchecked. Randleman is trapped in a ditch between himself and the advancing Germans, unable to make it back to his unit. With heavy casualties, Easy retreats as German forces reinforce their hold on Nuenen. Barnes is shot in the helmet but is not killed. Among the dead is Van Klinken, who tried to make it to a ditch but was shot by the enemy. Randleman takes refuge in a concrete sewage pipe while the Germans patrol around him. He later finds a better place to hold on, a nearby barn. As he considers how to get back to his unit, he is surprised by a local man and his daughter who were also hiding in the barn. Upon seeing that Randleman is wounded, a large piece of shrapnel is embedded in his shoulder. The man tries to dig it out, but cannot get a good grip on it; Randleman gives him his bayonet, and after a few painful moments, the man manages to remove it. As he bandages the wound, a commotion breaks out outside; a small unit of Germans has arrived and begins to search all the nearby buildings. Randleman hides his comrades in the back of the barn, but they drop the bloody cloth the man was using to cover his wound. One of the Germans finds him and begins to probe deeper into the barn. Randleman attacks the man, drowned out by the noise of the moving vehicles outside, and ends up killing him, an action that seems to horrify the young woman. Outside Nuenen, in the retreat area, several of Randleman's comrades, including Wild Bill and Hashey, decide to team up and search for Bull. They move silently towards the village. The next morning, Randleman bids farewell to the man and his daughter, having buried the German he shot in the straw covering the barn. Things have calmed down considerably, and it is now safe for him to flag down a passing Army jeep. The jeep brings Randleman back to Easy's rendezvous point, where everyone is overjoyed to see that he is alive. As Easy continues his retreat, Barnes remarks that they will have to find another way into Germany, since Market Garden has failed. Casualties 1st Lt. Robert Brewer (WIA) PFC Robert van Klinken (KIA) Private James W. Miller (KIA)

About 38,000 Wehrmacht soldiers, 2,200 machine guns. Casualties Lieutenant Briggs, Private Delancey, unknown amount of infantry (approximately 20,000+) Unknown amount of infantry (approximately 9000) Omaha Beach is the code name for an area of Normandy Beach for the Mission Overlord landings that occurred on June 6, 1944; known as D-Day or the Day of Days. It occurred during the latter stages of World War II. It was a major turning point that was instrumental in regaining control of France and ultimately winning the war. Alternate History Omaha Beach, along with Utah Beach, Sword Beach, Gold Beach, and Juno Beach was one of the landing sites for Mission Overlord. It began the Normandy Campaign. The US 1st and 29th Infantry Divisions, the Army Rangers, and the Marine Beach Battalions landed at this location on D-Day or the Day of Days. Here, the Supreme Allied Command predicted that this would be the most difficult beach to capture, due to the number of obstacles and German positions. It was the beach where the majority of Americans landed. The beach was eventually captured and remained under Allied control for the rest of the Campaign. After the war, the name Omaha stuck and is still known by that name today. In the pilot episode part 1 In the pilot episode part 1, the US Army Rangers, Navy Beach Battalions, and 29th Infantry were in the Dog Green sector. It begins with Captain America, detached from Easy Company to command Charlie Company, 2nd Ranger Battalion, landing in an LCM on the beach. He gives instructions to the men, telling them to "Keep the sand off those guns! Keep those actions clear! See you on the beach!" All the men crouch down as they hear the roar of nearby mortar fire. Just as the ramp descends, a machine gun immediately opens on them, and several soldiers are killed instantly before the ramp descends. Captain America grabs an Allied soldier named Delancey, who has been hit in the leg, and jumps to the side with him. They make their way to the beach and find refuge behind his flying combat shield. Delancey turns to thank America, when he is suddenly shot in the chest. Taking cover behind the flying combat shield, Captain America continues to trudge along the beach. As he rests on the sand, he wearily watches the brutal battle ahead of him. He sees several men take cover behind obstacles, while others are hit by the exploding flamethrower tank. He notices a man hit in the arm, and sees men hit in an LCVP. Captain America finally comes to his senses and orders James Howlett to move his men to the beach, while Captain America leads some Rangers and soldiers from the 29th Infantry to the beach. Nearby, the soldiers are still fighting under heavy artillery. A young soldier who has been hit lies on his back. Suddenly, he begins to scream for his mother. Captain America runs into a group of medics from the 104th Medical Battalion carrying typewriters and tells one medic to "get rid of it" and to grab some weapons and follow him. He then runs into Lieutenant Briggs, who has been shot in the stomach. Captain America tries to tell a Marine from the 7th Marine Beach Battalion that there is no point in staying and blowing up the obstacles, since all the tanks are sinking in the canal. But the Marine insists on continuing with his work, so Captain America walks down to the beach, pulling Briggs with him. Suddenly, a mortar lands nearby. Captain America is knocked down, but gets up and pulls Briggs away when he realizes that the officer has been hit by the mortar. Distraught, Captain America runs to the Sea Wall and finds some cover near a small hill below some pebbles, and finds Howlett and his other soldiers on the platform.

0:59 Points Points Episode: 10 Preceded by: "Why We Fight" Focus: Steve Rogers Subject: The End of the War "Points" is the tenth and final episode of Captain America: The Super Soldier(the Meralim), focusing primarily on Steve Rogers once again. Synopsis The war is finally coming to an end, Hitler is dead, the Nazis have surrendered, and the U.S. government has begun to send the men home. However, the remaining men have too much time, alcohol, and weapons on their hands. With the men slowly turning against each other and the new points system preventing most of Easy Company from returning home, can Major America Rogers get his men home safely, or does the war in the Pacific have other ideas? Plot It shows the war winding down, beginning with Rogers relaxing by swimming in a river. It then shifts to the men arriving in Austria and taking over the Eagle's Nest at Berchtesgaden, where all they find are dead German officers and a considerable amount of war booty. Rogers, after announcing the end of the war in Europe, shows Barnes the huge private wine cellar of Der Rote Schädel (Jöhann Schmidt) and orders vintage alcohol to be distributed to the soldiers by the truckload; he gives Barnes first pick. The men then relax at the Nest until they have to move on. Although the expected SS partisan units never arrive, the men of Easy Company still suffer from fatigue, nervousness, and boredom, which produces dangerous results. Liebgott seeks revenge for the Jews by killing a German officer who was in command of one of the camps. Webster and Sisk go with him. They go inside where Liebgott briefly interrogates the man. After confirming that he is the right man, Liebgott begins yelling at the man in German and English. It becomes very uncomfortable for Webster, who leaves the room and goes for a smoke to calm down. Despite Webster's attempts to convince him otherwise, Liebgott shoots the officer in the neck. However, the gun jams as Leibgott fires another shot, allowing the officer to flee. A screaming Liebgott tries to get Webster to shoot the man, but he refuses. Sisk does so instead. Upon returning, Liebgott says that an officer would not run, but Webster justifies it by saying that the war is over and "anyone would run". With the war in Europe over, the men prepare to go to the Pacific. Rogers tries to get transferred early, but is denied due to his ties to Easy Company. As the men are trapped in Germany, they soon let their drink get the better of them. A replacement in I Company gets drunk and uses his gun to kill a British and German officer, and then wounds Sergeant Charles E Grant with a shot to the head. Grant is then taken to a German doctor for brain surgery while his replacement is hunted down. When found, Easy Company beats him until Speirs arrives. Speirs nearly kills the soldier, but turns him over to the MPs. The next morning, the local regiment of German soldiers is all in a field for their formal surrender. Captain Sobel passes Rogers, but looks away from him as an excuse not to salute. Rogers calls him back and tells him, "We salute the rank, not the man." Sobel finally salutes and quickly leaves with Barnes and Liebgott smiling slightly in the background. A German general approaches Lipton and asks if he may speak to his men. Lipton approves, and Liebgott translates the general's speech for Rogers. As the episode closes, Rogers recounts what happened to each of the surviving soldiers and himself after the war. The men discover that the war is completely over, and they celebrate with a baseball game. The series then concludes by showing footage of the actual members of Easy Company who gave the interviews that opened many episodes, but for the first time with their names listed, including Major America Rogers. Trivia Commander Ronald Speirs assigned Liebgott, along with John C. Lynch, Don Moone, and Wayne Sisk, to eliminate the Nazi who had been the head of the labor camp. When they found the man on his farm, Liebgott interrogated him violently, confirming that the man was guilty. Liebgott shot him once in the chest. Wounded, the Nazi ran up a hill, and Lynch ordered Moone to shoot him. Moone refused, and Sisk ended the life of the guilty man. In reality, Webster was not part of the incident. The point system mentioned throughout this episode involves members of Easy Company needing to earn a total of 85 points before they could request an honorable discharge and return home to the United States. Points were earned for length of service, medals earned, and combat wounds. The individual values for these and other factors are not mentioned in the episode. The points system would continue until Easy received new orders to fight in the Pacific Theater or the Japanese Empire surrendered. The latter the scene set in Europe during the baseball game likely took place on August 15, 1945, the date of Japan's surrender, or within the next few days. The rigged lottery that Shifty wins took place on June 6, 1945, a year after the 101st participated in the Normandy landings. Unfortunately, Shifty was seriously injured in a jeep accident while being transported to the airfield and ended up recovering in a hospital and arriving home long after his comrades.

0:59 [Warning]Episode #5 Crossroads of the miniseries🎖Captain🏅 🎯America🇺🇲 the🪖 Super Soldier🛡 (the Meralim)(Daniel 12:1; Nahum 3:3; Revelation 6:2) Crossroads “ Crossroads ” Episode: 5 Preceded by: " Replacements " Followed by: " Bastogne " "Crossroads" is the 5th episode of Captain America: Super Soldier(the Meralim). It once again features Steve Rogers in a starring role. It follows him winning a raid against German troops and earning him a promotion to Battalion XO. Synopsis Captain America Rogers is promoted to Executive Officer (XO) of 2nd Battalion and is no longer given command of Easy Company. He is transferred to Battalion HQ and given administrative duties that include typing field reports. He finds it difficult to relinquish control of Easy Company and focus on his new duties. Summary On October 17, 1944, in the Netherlands, at the Schoonderlogt Estate, Captain America Steve Rogers is looking out the window of the room he shares with Captain James Buchanan "Bucky" Barnes. They have been ordered to go to the 506th Regiment HQ, but Barnes refuses to wake up, so Rogers grabs a nearby cup of liquid and throws it over a groggy Barnes, which works. Barnes becomes enraged and exclaims that it is his own urine, and throws his pillow at Rogers, who begins to laugh. As they approach the HQ, Barnes tells them that they are the only unit to have the Germans on the German side of the Rhine River and that if they had managed to fight the Germans off at Antwerp, they could have made a major advance into Germany. Rogers is instructed to give Colonel Sink a fully written battle report on how he ran into a crossroads with one of Easy's squadrons about a month earlier. Rogers leaves to do so and begins to recall the events of the battle. He recalls when Liebgott ran with the rest of his patrol; Liebgott has a minor but bleeding neck wound and another of them is seriously wounded. After telling them that they have found a company of Germans nearby, Rogers has Lipton gather Easy's first squad to go with them to the crossroads. Scouting the area, they find the German company inexplicably firing an MG-42 towards the battalion headquarters, which is miles away and well out of range. Rogers organizes an attack, having the mortar squads blow up the road. The machine gunners provide covering fire and the rest go forward with Rogers to pick off vulnerable soldiers on the road, Rogers himself assigning individual men from the German squad to specific men from the first squad. They successfully take out several Germans with the attack and quickly retreat to regroup and plan their next attack. Rogers and the squad wait until dawn. Rogers orders a charge that he will lead, telling the rest to fix their bayonets and charge into the red smoke while he runs first. The smoke grenade is slow to launch, and the soldiers are far behind Rogers, who reaches the line first and shoots a young German soldier, then more soldiers. Although the surprise attack is successful, another German company appears, leading to a full-scale firefight, with Rogers calling in heavy artillery strikes. Private Webster and Sergeant John W. Martin capture a trench of soldiers, one of whom tells them he is Polish, despite speaking German. Martin realizes that they are SS and refuses to accept the idea that they are Polish. Webster is hit in the foot by a German artillery barrage and is taken to the aid station. The rest of the team overpowers the Germans and secures the area. Martin rounds up 11 prisoners. Rogers approaches an angry Liebgott shooting at the still-living Germans crawling over the bodies of their dead comrades, trying to escape the camp. Rogers orders Liebgott to cease shooting and escort Martin's prisoners back to the Battalion CP. Believing the angry Liebgott to be untrustworthy, Rogers orders him to drop all ammunition and removes all but one of the cartridges from Joe's rifle. He tells him that killing one prisoner will cause the others to attack and possibly kill him and escape. Rogers then sits down looking at the young German he threw the flying disc at earlier. Barnes approaches and offers him a glass of water. Colonel Sink arrives shortly after to assess the situation and informs Rogers that he is to assume the position of battalion commander. Rogers accepts and suggests that 1st Lt. Fredrick "Moose" Heyliger take his place. Later, as Rogers and Heyliger walk together and Rogers briefs him on Easy, Heyliger is shot by a nervous Army sentry. Heyliger survives, but his injuries are too severe to allow him to command Easy. On a short break in Mourmelon-le-Grand, France, the company watches Seven Sinners, a film starring Marlene Dietrich and John Wayne. Rogers and Barnes enter and the film is interrupted. The commanding officers inform the men that they have that they must embark immediately for Belgium and that all leave has been cancelled. The company travels by trucks a few hundred miles to the small village of Bastogne; it is under attack by an unexpectedly large German force. Colonel Sink tells Rogers and Easy that they will have to defend Bastogne, a junction town of about seven roads that is vital to the advance of the German tank divisions. Colonel Strayer arrives just in time, having been on leave in London. Easy's new commander, 1st Lieutenant Norman Dike, arrives and is debriefed by Rogers about the preparations for the defense, including ammunition, cold-weather clothing, and food packs for the company. A lieutenant, George Rice, brings a jeep full of ammunition boxes. He says he will make another ammunition run if he can, and suggests that Easy and the other companies at his disposal will be surrounded after the last open road is cut shortly. Rogers tells him that the paratroopers must be surrounded and joins his comrades as they make their way into the forest under cover of darkness. Casualties and Deaths Corporal William Dukeman Jr (KIA) 1st Lieutenant Frederick T. Heyliger (WIA)
