Newer bikes just don't feel the same because of the driver aids and all the new engine electronics. These machines just feel different even more so because there's nothing to keep you safe 😂 That just increases the adrenaline tenfold when it's only you and the machine🔥

I see everyone going around spending a shit ton of money for a new superbike when in reality, most of us use about 40-50% of the bike. The 180hp it gives is more than enough for the average Joe that most of us are.

Just got a new exhaust for my Norden Expedition and it’s so worth it! Definitely recommend it. Love the review. Pretty spot on! One of the most fun and versatile bikes ever made. Once you get it on it, you won’t want to stop riding it!
@s13whitesilvia5 ай бұрын
What exhaust did you go with? Did you notice a difference in power? Thanks for the kind words
@King_Cole5 ай бұрын
@@s13whitesilvia I just did a simple slip on from Dominator Exhaust for now so not really a difference on power, just sounds way better. Would love to do a full cat delete but it’s definitely more expensive and complicated. You usually need a full tune afterwards and sometimes emissions tests can be annoying depending on the area you live in.

You should buy it. It's probably one of the best motorcycles ever made. Aesthetically and performance wise. I ride an '03 CBR600RR daily and that'll be my next upgrade in two/three years down the line.

Appreciate you addressing the heat and engine noise, and the normal rider perspective. I have a 2T for gnarly trail riding and a literbike for speed and sharpness, and I'm looking at this as a middle bike, between those extremes, and with touring chops and comfort, including the ability to stand and unkink the old hips and get some airflow down below. I like the looks of it (Expedition looks better in many ways, IMO), especially the headlights, but I'm still leaning Transalp because it supposedly doesn't throw much heat on the rider. I'd go electric for the low heat and noise, but they're overpriced and I want a commuter-tourer that can handle a fire road and sub-gnarly trails and long range / quick fillups (without being too expensive or heavy, but maybe heavy enough to handle medium crosswinds on the freeway). The only thing going for this over the Transalp for me is the suspension. My 2T has WP something and it's very plush and progressive, so I have some faith in that, but on the other hand maybe for the intended use I wouldn't even be pushing the ostensibly lame Transalp suspension. I just don't know, haven't ridden either bike. My local Honda dealer is actually a KTM dealer who has no Huskies and no Transalps, but the local Yamaha dealer has Norden 901s but no Expeditions -- for those you have to go to the Triumph dealer, go figure. I'm not sure the skid plate, livery, windshield, and suspension are worth blowing up the budget. And I have a major problem with features needing to be "unlocked". Mostly, I wish manufacturers would pay much closer attention to heat management at all speeds and duration of riding. I'm going to be very careful this time not to buy another nut-roaster (or a roaster of any other body part)! And I don't want to buy a new bike and immediately have no choice but to put a full system on it or replace midpipe and wrap it in ugly heat tape or anything like that. It's hot enough with the air temp high, I don't need the bike helping me toward heat stroke. Anyway, thanks for the video, it has been helpful.

So i randomly found you and your videos tonight which is extremely weird. Thats because i was on Beach st at the QT where yall where in one of your videos. Not only are you near where I live and work but I just bought a 2006 CBR 1000rr at DFW Honda. Its not my first bike nor is it my first 1000rr. In fact i have had 3 - 2007 CBR 1000rr, 2 Of them were stolen, one I looped on the highway in Florida. Now to get to the point LOL. My last 1000rr was stolen 12.5 years ago. I had a few bikes that just never fit or sat right with me. I am not saying the 06/07 1000rr is the greatest bike because i know its not but it was and is the bike for me personally and what you said about how the connection with the bike and tje road helps with mental stress is exactly how i feel but with this particular model. I think its important for people to find what helps them alleviate there stress. It doesnt have to be a motorcycle or a vehicle but i would say to those out there to not laugh at or knock someone that says it helps them. You dont have to understand or like motorcycles to be understanding that it helps someone. I really like your videos. Please keep on making them and I hope to see you on the road.. P.S. my wife is a Service manger at a motorcycle dealership , she and I are both certified motorcycle mechanic, and use to be Factory Ducati, BMW, and Triumph. My wife currently rides a KTM 390 Duke.

I bought an 06 cbr1k as my first ever street bike.. For most it would have been a death sentence, but I grew up racing dirt bikes since the age of 7 & being 6'2" tall, I really didn't want a 600cc bike.. Def lucky to have survived it in my 20's.. I still have it today, all stock xcept full yoshi system, k&n, & old PC5.. For the last 10yrs or so, I have put about 50mi on it a year. Never selling it, as they have never gotten any better, in my opinion, only gotten worse with all the "modes" and nannies ect.. Like you neighbor, I'm 43 and enjoy my comfy Street Glide much more.. I only ride it for 20 or so mins a year for shits a giggles.. or a quick trip to town and back..

it's shaking bcuz the suspension is out of wack it hasn't been tuned to rider. Wheel bearings can also cause the shakes. It'll feel bumpy in the bars but you shouldn't be death gripping em either. Some guys like to remove the weights out the bars and that ruins the balance.

Ay man they sell thermal base layers... it'll keep you warm. lol and yeah you better respect a 1KRR, it'll kill you if you don't and if you truly know the experience you'll never really hit your throttle, it's a tiny PINCH and you're in the 100+ within 2nd gear.. .

Do you have a PC or Bazzaz unit to correct the AFR on it? If not, do it and then you'll see what the beast can do. It was a completely different rowdy raped ape...just a beast...BEAST! I love my older sportbikes...all the hand holding rider aids is just killing the true joy of riding these days. I love my 06, Candy Blue & Yellow. I heard they only made 500 of them in honor of Rossi. Either way, once you had a full Arrow Race Exhaust and correct the AFR, it goes...plenty quick/fast enough. I enjoy the quick blast out of corners more than straight line speeds these days. It's just Honda perfection. Man, I want to get out on it now. LOL

I have ridden superbikes since they became a thing. From 600 ninjas too GSXR1100, My last bike a GSXR1000/2007 was a Rocket ship, 180+mph stock. The surprising thing was how many members of well-known Biker clubs, wanted to look at it and sit on it. The common thread was. " I wanted that bike ever since I was a kid." I'm 65 and now own a Ninja 1000sx, although powerful and more comfortable than true race replicas, I've been looking at a 2009 CBR1000R Repsol.

the best era and back when streetbikes sport bikes didn't cost a fortune, less than $11000 new . 2003 to 2008. These days prices have doubled. I would enjoy seeing you "highway racers" do some twisting roads or the race tracks, like these bike where designed for. I would bet that over 75% would crash out
