The one who put me in the womb was actually my beloved Lord. Now I understand, that it was I who forgot him. Now 'I' am dead, there will be no coming into the womb again. I am he now! _ Saint Tukaram Wisdom does not belong to any sect or religion. It belongs to the ardent seeker regardless of whether he is homeless or at home. But when detachment grows, he normally feels this world as vomit, a natural renunciation. The one who awake from dream knows that 'thou art that', the irreversible wisdom. That's Nibbana. bana=arrow. What Buddha try to say suffering is like arrow shot in body. And Nibbana means pulling out the arrow. The arrow of ignorance!.🎉

The Agganna Sutta is a Buddhist scripture found in the Pali Canon, which is the primary scripture of Theravada Buddhism. It presents a cosmological account of the origin and evolution of the universe, as well as the cycles of human civilization. However, it is important to note that the Agganna Sutta is primarily regarded as a religious and mythological text rather than a scientific account. Scientific evidence refers to empirical observations, experiments, and data that are subject to rigorous testing, peer review, and verification within the scientific community. The Agganna Sutta does not provide scientific evidence in this sense, as it is not based on empirical observations or subject to scientific scrutiny. The cosmological and mythological accounts presented in the Agganna Sutta are allegorical and symbolic in nature, conveying spiritual and philosophical teachings rather than scientific explanations. They are meant to provide a narrative framework for understanding the nature of existence, the cycles of life and death, and the moral and ethical lessons taught in Buddhism. It is worth noting that Buddhism, like many other religious and philosophical traditions, offers perspectives on topics that intersect with scientific inquiry, such as consciousness, human suffering, and the nature of reality. However, these perspectives are not presented as scientific theories or competing with scientific explanations. In summary, the Agganna Sutta is a religious and mythological text that conveys Buddhist teachings and cosmological narratives. It does not provide scientific evidence or align with the empirical, evidence-based methodology of scientific inquiry. The role of religious texts is distinct from scientific investigation and understanding.

There is no middle 8 hours ....part of it is used for the commute to and from the 8 hour job....and part of it is used to get up and get dressed and prepared to commute to the job and part of it is to retire the day and prepare for bed to sleep 8 hours...so you will either take away from rest/sleep to allow more time for leisure or have hardly no leisure time so that you get ample sleep.....Most folks live days of the week to allow leisure on the weekends

If there is No Self then there is no Darma Wheel…because there is no Self to be stuck on the wheel in the first place therefore there is no need to follow any 8 fold path cause we will all just die anyway and the self which you say is a construct will just fall away naturally. There is no way the Buddha taught this because this teaching is simply foolishness.

Anatta but rebirth. Re means to “do again” so why is there a RE birth if there is No Self??? Then it should not be called rebirth this is just Nihilism.

Bhante Punnaji is an indisputable teacher and guide in buddhism. His life long research to uncover the original teachings of the Buddha is commendable. There's nothing wrong with drawing parallels between buddhism and sciences. When the highest point is reached by science, it will only prove that the Buddha was right all along. The late Bhante Punnaji is a rare jewel indeed, with indepth knowledge in science, philosophy, psychology and Buddhism. His perspective of the dhamma is revolutionary because of these knowledges. Ever so greatful to Bro. Billy Tan for sharing these valuable sermons. 🙏
