Thanks for posting this video. Even viewing it at 0.25x speed it's a bit fast. I appreciate you pointing out notable features, like Jackson Lake etc. Subscribed!

Some will see this and wonder why anyone would watch it. For those of us stuck in the dark frozen hell of crime ridden Minnesota watching this is wonderful.

The gps tells me that is 6 hours drive how long did it take you ?
@trvladvntures Жыл бұрын
I can't tell you exactly, but I can give an estimation. The video was sped up 4x so that's 4 hours, plus the missing parts which add up to around half an hour. So our driving time was 4 and a half hours (at speed limit). We did leave very early (at 6 or 6:30 AM if I remember correctly) and made only two short stops for gas and food. We arrived in Grand Teton NP around noon.

You need music with this!
@trvladvntures Жыл бұрын
I totally agree! But since I already spend a lot of time editing these videos, adding hours of music would simply take too long. I recommend playing your favorite tracks in the background!

Why is there no sound? Even just the ambient sound?
@trvladvntures Жыл бұрын
Hi, the 'ambient' sound would be my wife and I talking to each other. So I think you'd prefer your favorite tracks under this!

Nice video but how much did you cut
@trvladvntures Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Unfortunately our GoPro had overheating issues on hot sunny days, which obviously was the case on this day. So some parts are missing, though luckily the most scenic parts are in the video.

@@trvladvntures Awesome! I've made that drive many times. It's nice to reminisce. Have you considered adding a little background music? Would be a nice touch. :)
@trvladvntures Жыл бұрын
I did think about that. But I already spend a lot of time editing each video and by adding hours of music it would take even longer. So I figured you guys can put your own favorite music in the background instead.

Thank for your reaction. I'm currently working on the videos in real time. Unfortunately, because they are 4x longer, obviously, I'm limited by the capabilities of my computer. They are coming though, stay tuned!

What's the point in doing the video if the speed is too fast to enjoy the view and at least one could listen to the wheels on the road to better experience the "trip" through Yellowstone? No offense.
@trvladvntures Жыл бұрын
There will be real time versions of the videos. They are still a work in progress.

When was this filmed?
@trvladvntures Жыл бұрын
This was in the second or third week of June last year. We were really lucky, if we had been a couple of days later, we would not have been able to see as much of Yellowstone NP as we did!

Hi, it's very nice that you added the number of roads. So that people know where they are. The landscapes are very beautiful and the speed of the movie impairs the viewing of the movie. I feel like I'm in a car race. I wonder if there is a way to watch the movie at normal speed. Thanks Nehemiah.

Hi, Nehemiah. Thank you! I'm editing the videos at 4x normal speed to reduce the time needed per video. I did notice that the upload to KZbin reduces the frame rate so that watching at reduced speed does not give a fluent image. For now I will keep to my weekly uploading schedule of the road trip (I'm about halfway now), afterwards I will look into the possibilities of getting them viewable in real time. Thanks for the feedback!
