Hey guys great show, great topic- I recently found your podcast and am looking forward to getting caught up as quick as I can. Is there a group or association that might have such mentors? We have a group in CO but mostly they are about training and barely willing to have a conversation. This is what I found with most of the local companies here too. I’d be interested to find a group or something I don’t have to pay a membership for, at this point. Thanks for being willing to share your wealth of knowledge. That means a lot to many 😎

Non-Consent Towing Rate Regulation Struck-Down (S. Amdt. 2137) - Recently Senators Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) and Tim Kaine (D-VA) introduced an amendment regarding non-consent rate regulation that would have had a negative impact on our industry. Having previously met with TRAA, our federal lobbying firm, and representatives from the Professional Towers Association of Nebraska, the Senate Commerce Committee's minority staff proactively reached out to TRAA to get our opinion and understanding of the amendment. TRAA was able to quickly analyze the amendment, understand the negative impacts and bad precedent it sets, and articulate our concerns to the staff who were working as gatekeepers for amendments that would and wouldn’t make the final Senate passed version. Outcome: We are happy to report that this potentially damaging amendment also did not make into the final Senate passed version of bill. Special thanks to the PTAN for their outreach with Senator Fischer (R-NE)! This situation really highlighted why consistent presence, engagement, and communication with Congress is so important.

Just found your channel here, watching now.....subbing you, as i'm curious about your other content and what you will upload in the future. Very interesting so far. Greetings from the Chicago suburbs. P.S. The topic of this video is very relevant at the moment, as it's smart to have more ''slices to your towing pie'', diversifying is important in order to avoid getting hit hard when any one segment of the market hits a rough spot. Motor club work, police work, retail advertising to the public, what I call ''commercial'' or contracted work for auto repair facilities, so many others, depending on just how creative an owner wants to get....but in the end, being a good neighbor in your community goes a long way. Good podcast guys.

I attended several teleconference meetings by banks, countless hours gaining knowledge and information on the process, and had everything on hand to complete the applications. Afterwards, I was ready to complete anything quick. April 1st the EIDL applications was submitted. No feedback as of this date. Two days prior to the PPP closed I had everything submitted. With this, I had issues finding a bank. My bank is small town and offered no assistance. PPP was declined, or put in line, after finding out the money was exhausted. Several other things have come down the pipeline. Today, time to look at layoffs. 30 days of low volume and nothing big on the heavy duty side has exhausted my mental strength and finances to float it! This has been an experience to say the least! Thanks for the Pod Cast gentlemen.
