This video is awesome! I had this when I was kid! I was so obsessed with it, that I would make comic books about Mac computers and IBM computers were the bad guys lol. I've learned to appreciate all computers in my later years. Unfortunately, my adapter was lost sometime in the 90's. As an adult, I found the same Mac Plus I had as a kid and I found a copy of the game. I do not have the adapter though. I attempted to make one but I was unsuccessful. Do you happen to know where I could find an adapter for sale or someone that makes them? Thank you in advance.

Is there an add-on Z80 CPU board for the IIc?

Yes, there were many, the most known was from Applied Engineering, Z80 IIc: ae.applearchives.com/apple_c/z-80c/

@@ARCJavMaster I had a Woz Limited Edition Apple IIgs when I was a kid. I loved that computer! But today, a IIgs is dog slow, low resolution, and with no support for internet or modern printers. There are still a few old Apple II games that are fun to play: Drol (Broderbund) Bandits (Sirius) Spare Change (Broderbund) Lode Runner (Broderbund) Archon (EA)

Great video and nice 3D print of the Volume, you can make a HD drive out of that empty case out any old 1.44 Hd drive from many boom Macintosh units, it will work on a IIgs as 800k or any Macintosh as HD and so 😉👍🦾 I made a Video about it 😉🦾

VCFMW in 2024 should be an awesome show. Bigger venue, with more space to display & sell vintage & retro items. I'm hoping to get 3-4 tables, for both displaying & selling.

For the OLED status screen case, will you offer a reversed "left side" version? That would be less obtrusive with some setups. Very ingenious mounting bracket!

That's not a problem, but the cable length may be. I need to figure it out.

I've used CQBBS with fujinet and unfortunately the games don't seem to be playable. I get a lot of garbage chunks that render most text unreadable. Say, when trying to play Wordle. What I would really like to do is use CQBBS with fujinet on the IIGS, using spectrum to emulate ANSI for color. However Spectrum expects an Uthernet card and uses Marinetti to set it up. Spectrum's disk image is just a GSOS disk with Spectrum and Marinetti on it. I need someone to create a Fujinet Marinetti driver so we can use spectrum/marinetti with fujinet!
@ARCJavMasterАй бұрын
We need to send this to Thom for implementation

@@ARCJavMaster He didn't seem interested in taking on the project when I mentioned it on discord. I wonder if anyone else can make a fujinet marinetti driver

Some of the door games require ANSI or ProTERM emulation which the FujiNet doesn't support yet.

In future videos consider making it clear that such products are to be used for re-using otherwise discarded parts. 👍 Without this context people may assume the opposite: that you are tearing apart perfectly useable (and finite) vintage electronics merely for aesthetic enhancements to modern projects. I see that a lot of people are confused in the comments here.
