Thanks how do you remove the panel with the key in order to access the accessory power
@utvsteveАй бұрын
@craigs05gto pull down on the top part of the panel. I searched the internet for a while till I found some folks doing it. You'll see a couple indents on top. Pull down on those

Without the measurements, do you happen to remember what size bolts you used?

@jamesallen63 guessing 3" long and I think they were 3/8" grade 8

@@jamesallen63 there were three per bracket. One was 3" and the other two may have been 2.5" long. So long ago...sorry

Thank You. Just picked up a 24 Max Limited about 2 1/2 weeks ago and of course have so many things I want to do to it. I customized many cars and trucks years ago and the accessory wire (ignition on) was so easy to access and tap into. Soo thank you for the video. Have you replaced your halogen headlights with LED bulbs? I went with beamtech and man was it an improvement. Have you done anything for reverse lights?
@utvsteve3 ай бұрын
Thanks for your comments. Yes I actually have. I have a rear winch bar mounted up high on my rear cab with POD lights on them. I'll try to get a quick video on this loaded.

@toma1460 I haven't replaced my bulbs yet. Send me the part number for those beamtech please 🙏

Great video! Have a maverick trail myself, I'm from Norway so we need a closed cabin to🥶 Just wondering about you experience with the speakers? Is it worth the price?

No not worth the price. No base sound. I would put in an aftermarket system if I were you. Cheers,

It's got to be like an oven riding in that thing. Did you add any type of sound proofing or heat shields to the body?
@utvsteve3 жыл бұрын
I added a heatshield to the gas tank only. It's a known issue with these gas tanks getting too hot. In summer, I ride with the windows off. In fall & winter, it's perfect. I also added a cab heater for cold days. Where I live, we don't get hot weather.

You must clean the tank extremely well and remove the plastic shield in the wheel well to get access. It has worked extremely well and completely solved the problem"

Very cool vid Steve, you certainly have all the bases covered! All that was missing was an ashtray for your stogie!?! lol We ride our Maverick Sport XMR in central Ontario where the Men are Men and the Moose are nervous. LMAO Your vid is a perfect example of just how prepared you need to be if your really going OFF GRID!! 👍😎
@utvsteve3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Cigar holder but no ashtray. Can't find something that can take the abuse as we drive. When we go off grid, it's 100km away from our trucks and we are gone for a week. Never hurts to be prepared!
