I really like your comment because of how well balanced it is. You expressed your disappointment which you're entitled to do just like everyone else, but I truly appreciate you saying that you still enjoyed at the end. Because I've seen so many negative comments about this event, saying how bad or horrible it is with absolutely ZERO good things about it whatsoever, like was it *THAT* bad??? And at a time when battlebots future is uncertain, we can't be careless with our words giving the false impression that we don't like it, cause then discovery will see that and won't renew it. I'm sure champions 2 low view ratings didn't help.

I've seen so much more comments expressing their disappointment regarding this than excitement. While everyone's entitled to their opinion, to me it just feels like we live in a world today where we just have such extreme high standards as to if no one reaches that threshold regardless of if it's out of their control, then we get upset and demand better instead of appreciating what we're given.

@@jonathanf2392 Realistically, this was hyped up by BattleBots themselves like it was the greatest thing they'd ever seen. Plus, this was originally a few years old so we had quite the wait to even see it.

@@BellyLover06 the hype for this was literally no different for any other hype from battlebots for other things. If anything, I think the *FANS* hyped it up like crazy cause we were all like "omg it's finally here after 2 years!!!!!!" And it's not battlebots fault they released it two years later, point the finger at Amazon (which lost my expensive package btw but let's get back to topic). So would you rather not have battlebots release it at all? What else could they do? They went the extra mile to edit it making it almost like an episode, they could have easily made it basement fights like you said but they didn't. Can't you be at the very least a tiny but appreciative that this was finally released and not gived up on. Look, battlebots have zero obligation to do any of this, matter of fact they could easily wave the white flag and leave the series on the dust bowl forever. But they didn't, we have this, faceoffs is coming and they're still fighting for s8 no matter how long it takes

@BellyLover06 yeah, that didn't help either. I remember the day after this event battlebots posted the hypershock team holding the giant bolt. And then the KZbin polls spoiled it as well

Duck doesn’t work in battlebots,but in other competitions it does….but just so happens Hal decided to enter a wedge bot(the lifter can barely lift) in a show about entertainment and less about competition
