What does the cloud icon mean in the app? Today I see 180 next to it. What do the numbers mean? I’m guessing it’s about rainfall but not sure how to interpret.

I'd love to try this on my backyard lawn.

This company sucks! I ordered an X7 Plus on June 1, 2024. On Jun 21st I received an email telling me that there was a "delay in the shipment" and that it would not be delivered until "the confirmed date of July 19th." I responded by telling the representative that "understand that sometimes there are issues with Shipping." However, I told them that if they were not "sure" that it would ship on the 19th then to just provide me with a refund now; that was on June 24th. The representative, Andrew P, responded by telling me that he was "sure that [my] mower will be send [sic] on July 19th." Well, July 19th came and went, so on or about July 23rd I sent an email asking about the delivery date. In response, on July 24th, I got an email asking me to wait another month, until mid-August, to receive the mower. I declined and asked for a full refund. In response, the rep said, he would cancel my order and "refund you later." What the heck does "refund me later" mean? I would be very cautious ordering from this company, it reminds me of that cooler company, Coolest Cooler , who stole people's money and then went out of business. .... do not order!!!

What significance does the Starting Points have? For example if you choose 4 starting points does it automatically rotate between each starting point for the next 4 mows?

Are there any options or settings to improve battery performance? My Orion X7 is not even doing more than 0.06 acres on a single charge. I have raised a support ticket with no response yet. Let's see.

Do I need to protect the charging station from rain in any way? What about the power cords for the charging station and RTK base? They have "for indoor use only" written on them.

Can I modify an already saved garden map? i.e. add an additional cutting area to an existing map. Will I need to redraw the whole map?

If they would add night mode I would be all over this mower. But it seems you have to step up to the higher priced models to gain that feature.

So far it’s been great but… How can I choose a work area for the mower to go to and work? It always seems to want to start in my front lawn before I can get it to go to the back lawn

Thanks for the review, Sunseeker now has a wire free model I am considering. The Orion X7 looks like a good product. How has the reliability been with yours? I am hoping to get 5+ years of use out of a robot mower and want to make sure they don’t break down a lot.

Is it waterproof?

Great timing - Im in the market right now for a robotic mower, having nearly bought the racing car alternative last year. I definitely need AWD, and Id argue my lawn is quite complex for an autonomous mower. 1. AO Navi positioning and navigation 2. .8-4 inches 3. AWD

I have the L22Plus and so far I am very impressed. Its a little fiddley with connecting to my network, but it does a very good job of keeping the grass mowed. It is very quiet and chuggs along quite contently. A little tweaking of the boundry wire is all that is necessary and it will be perfect. My only concern is that there isn't much support or replacement part information available. The company's website is geared towards new purchases and many of the links error out. I'd like to be able to replace the battery eventually, as I see it being the only major part that will need replacing, other than the electronics board. This could be my new favorite company. Can't wait to see how the new X7 performs.

With five acres total and approximately three acres that are not covered by buildings and obstacles, should I be looking at more than one unit to split the workload-or is the three acre model sufficient? Thoughts?

These things are great! I'd rather have the AI robot do mundane lawn tasks to not only free up that time for family and business but if you're currently paying for lawn care then these pay for themselves!! No gas to mess with, no wires, and no complaints about the grass needing cut. Keep it classy 🥂
