Actually you are incorrect, the first ns train which was p22 was on the siding and was for the blame because one of the crew members for p22 forgot to flip the switch at graniteville and when left the switch flipped to the siding and not the mainline, meanwhile a ns manifest 192 was also at graniteville and approaching the siding and the had 2 sd60's leading the manifest, the ns 192 or the manifest then went on the siding and hit p22 derailing both trains. 16 of the 25 freight cars on the manifest train derailed and 1 of the 2 boxcar on p22's train, what most people didnt know until a few minutes was that 1 of the manifests freight cars was a tanker and the tanker was filled to the brim with clorine gas and spreaded all over graniteville looking like a fog that was low to the ground and smelled like bleach, after the crash 8 people in their homes was killed because of the smell of the clorine in the air and 1 of the manifests crew members also died with injuries in the crash and the smell of the clorine gas because he was very close to the derailed train and was gasping for air along with the other crew members on both the manifest and the local p22.
