I tried to find a triplet in 2005 by an intelligent brute force algorithm and tested the method until n=8. - find all single latin squares, who are orthogonal to their main diagonal mirrored square (around 102000 at n=8, my notebook ran 3 weeks for it) (a C++ program compiled with free intel compiler) - take all such pairs and construct a third square starting from a corner along the main diagonal and orthogonal to square 1 and 2 and self-symmetric by its main diagonal (VBA) For n=9 and 10 I realized that it is too much for only one notebook. the problem has to be distributed like the search for Fermat and Mersenne primes or the SETI search (realistic for n=9 and 10). I will only continue with a quantum computer, when I do it alone again. In some years I wil retire and want to resume.

Sure. Best wishes. But now I believe the Triplet of MOLS of order 10 doesn't exist. I guess amateur mathematician Matt Parker has conjectured so. Now I dream of a logical proof showing the non-existence. :)

at 10:12 there is a small mistake: at the end of the equation it says "[r! (n-r!)]", but it's supposed to be "[r! (n-r)!]" if I'm not mistaken
Good attempt Moloy!... time complexity is exponential when working with Latin square of greater orders. It should not be a bug in your program but a natural characteristics of Latin square that takes longer time even for order >5 .
