I think that trying to bond the pieces back to back it would likely be easier with resin than with paper clay unless you have a way to make sure the paper clay is super flat on the back. I did watch a video earlier this week where the creator casted one of the Cloche molds with clear resin and let it dry. She unmolded and then poured a second one. She imbedded ribbon in the second one to act as a hanger and then she placed the previously casted cloche onto the still wet resin and placed a light object on top to dry. When the second piece was dry and she unmolded the whole thing it was completely adhered. She had a little overcast but was able to sand that off pretty easily. Another lady embedded mini light sets in hers and while they were beautiful someone in the comments mentioned that they had done that and it was great until the lights failed and you could see the light sting in the clear resin but they wouldn't light up again. The lights had run there course I guess. I think I am going to try the lights and then just plan to paint the piece when the lights eventually fail. I saw a lady implant flowers in hers and they were beautiful. So many creative ideas. While costing more and taking more time, I do think that resin is the way to go to create something that looks great and really lasts. Thank you so much for sharing your time and talent. Deborah

This came out great! I really struggle with my one tier tray that I have. I always think it's either too much or not enough so I never seem happy with it. I'm going to the try the Gingerbread/candy cane theme this year.

Christmas seemed so far away and I thought I had plenty of time to craft. You have me motivated to get in gear and get going. Love the ornaments and how you can make them to fit your decor style. For me vintage look transfers or copy old christmas cards/postcards & decoupage them.

I glued my ornaments together right after I had them both out of the mould and that worked well for the two sided ornament. Takes about 24 hours to dry.

If you take a clear gloss top coat and put that on the resin the cloudiness will disappear.

They all come out cloudy. When you put a top coat sealer on there it will take the cloudiness away.

A few said that in the comments, but I want to emphasize it - it must be CLEAR GLOSS varnish. I use Rustoleam's clear gloss spray - works wonderful!

I think the frosted version is just as pretty as the clear version depending on the look you’re going for. Nice job on all your projects. Everything looks beautiful.

The mold is dull so your resin won't come out shiny use resin to top coat after it dries.

Use a clear sealer over the cloches. That will clear them up and make them look like glass. 😊

I cleared up my resin by spraying it with rustolium spray clear gloss spray paint

I thought the cloche ornaments were wonderful. But I know that would be too much work for me so I will admire yours. All the transfer projects have such a vintage look which I Love. You have given me so many great ideas I need to get the transfers and get going. Almost forgot the snowflakes, they look so dainty & fragile I need them for my winter decor❄️❄️

Put a sealer it will make it clear

Cute ideas...Ellen J Goods & Pickin boots cleared up their redin with a coat of varnish...I think they both used Pentart brand. I had a clear label I had made with some extra resin. I did a 50/50 'test' with DIY Big Top & Dixie Bell Satin...It cleared a lot...not sure if as clear as how their's looked with the varnish, but good enough that I'm not going to make a special varnish purchase just for my planned cloche projects.

You summed it up when you said they are all your favorite trays. Same here, all favorites for different reasons. First tray the canvas & turkey really set the mood. Halloween tray, the colors, black-white-orange look stunning. Plus using just a couple Halloween specific pieces (ghost, trick/treat pumpkin) keep it simple. Last tray love the richness of the wood tray & deep orange velvet pumpkins. You have me so excited for fall decorating🍁🌾🍂
