Hey man I have a crybaby from hell wah I want to use with my pod go how did you connect your wah?
@KrisHuberАй бұрын
My wah is technically patched right before the guitar input to the pod go, and then I repurposed the wah control to adjust the pitch shift instead. Hope that helps 🤘

Here's a random question for you. I have a td-17kvx2 and there's not a whole lot of play time on it but my snare has a dead spot on it occasionally. It's like upper right of the center. It makes no sense to me. The settings seem good and I don't see why that should affect 1 tiny spot on the snare. Any idea?
@KrisHuber23 күн бұрын
Since you said it's got some wear, the head might be having a hard time staying in tension at some spots, so swapping the mesh head could help :)

@KrisHuberАй бұрын
@@puffnpluky76 I somehow haven’t had any issues with the Roland cymbals I’ve had, but the 2 or 3 Alesis ones have all bit the dust and I haven’t had time to pick them apart yet. I’d imagine the wiring to the piezo sensor got damaged or the 1/4 jack. I’ll let you know when I get them apart!

If you're gonna try out for Primus, you might want to be playing actual drums.
This is one of the best of the auditions I've seen so far. Very original use of kick, bells, and fills that is simultaneously different from AND on par with Tim's style. I love your decision to match that part where Les has the two dotted 8ths in the breakdown, I never knew it would make the drop back in sound so heavy.

I just had to do a decent amount of repairs to the pads after having them for over a decade, the internal sensors were off from the head by about an inch and a half lol. Got some washers under them all to raise it up and we're off to the races again 😁

Have you measured the scale length of this guitar? Because on Ibanez Wiki there is double information depending on which page you are looking at. When you look at Ibanez Necks table there are two scale lengths 25 and 25.1/4 depending on the year of built. Also the fretboard radius differs. But when you go to the main page of this guitar it says that only 25 inc scale length has been used. I have played 7 string guitars with 25.5 and 26.5 both with jumbo frets. I think 25 inch with medium frets is more comfortable playing for 7 string. But Ibanez and other manufacturers almost have no 7 string guitars with shorter necks. Do you notice the difference with the regular 7 strings?

Unless you use a “jailbreak” patch. Also too you can use the effects loop as a boost if you’re putting other effects direct into the front end. The loop allows for a 6db boost on both the output and input and you can place it before the amp to push the breakup which is really cool.

You can also just make a switch control the master on the amp and jailbreak the effects loop out freeing up some DSP
