im a jew who wants to go to a catholic high school, and we are expected to cross ourselves so this was very helpful. also i hope its not offensive for a non catholic to do this!

My religious beliefs are very different from yours, i was born and raised southern baptist. I follow the teachings of John the Baptist ( i believe in baptism, total immersion in the waters) this is a personal choice and i dont see it as one is more correct over the other just more of deciding your faith and stick with it. So i wanted to say thank you, i wanted to start crossing during my prayers as a visible devotion to my faith, so I came here to make sure I do not offend anyone by doing it wrong. Now I know how, i will remain baptist by faith but i will show my devotion by crossing myself at prayer and before meals. We always pray before dining to give thanks for the physical nourishment that goes along with our spiritual nourishment.
