No offense to anyone but this is my 2cents- I'm also doing Uber (tesla M3). The first ride you or second are roughly an hour total time so with dead time included. These were $20 on average. Fuel and other costs will bring this down to less than $15/hr. You did get some rides that were at roughly $1 per minute which would turn to $60 per hr. This averages down significantly once you account for dead miles etc. This the reason you must aim for higher paying rides. IGNORE the $.50 cents per minute cus they become $.30 cents per min after a few rides. This is $18 per hour. As proof I have what you did $184 in 9 hours is $20 which is not far from $18 (i'm good ). This is all before fuel expenses , car, tires, insurance, oil etc. My guess is you end up with less than $15 per hour which is 5 dollars less than what is paid at McDonalds and you also end up with a beat up depreciated car.

I dont know how yall function but money is money to me, i drive in NYC and i accept every ride. Even if its 3 minutes ill take your 5 dollars for 3 minutes of work. Yall cherry pick and end up ruining your stats and i have a feeling that has an effect on the algorithm and how it feeds you rides. In 4 hours i can make 200 dollars and in about 7 im leaving with no less than 300. if i wanna hit 400 itll take me about 10 hours, this is stable every time i work and do this full time.

you need to cherry pick. Taking every ride is not the way to go. i just made $119.38 for 2 rides tonight with uber. Took about 20 rejected rides , but then i got a ride from Irvine to San bernardino for .$98.oo then another for $33.00 to Moreno Valley.

Another thing that I am trying to figure out is how your Uber Profile affects the kind of offers you get. For example your Uber Pro Level. Your Star Rating. Your acceptance rate and your driving insights.. I have a feeling that they all somehow play apart with the offers that you get. Also your vehicle as we all know opens the door for the types of offers you can receive.. When I reached the level of Uber platinum, I feel like my offers started becoming much better on a regular basis..

see I told you that early mornings was good between six and 10. you should try my formula as a test one day while you’re working. Take the total time divided by two and that is what the pay should be if it’s more great if it’s less make a decision on how much less you’re going to accept but if you stick to the total time divided by two it should get you in that $30 an hour range

how I choose rights. First off I determine how I want to accept rides. Am I looking at the total amount of minutes that it’s going to take to get the ride completed or am I looking at the mileage? You really need to choose one. I prefer to look at time I want to be paid a certain amount of money for my time for example, if you want to be paid $30 an hour, then you need to look at the time compared to the pay. for the $30 an hour example you need to make $.50 for every minute so when an offer comes up what I do is immediately look at how long it’s gonna take to get to the customer and then how long it’s gonna take to get the customer to their destination for example if it takes eight minutes to get to the Customer and then 26 minutes to drop them off that’s a total of 34 minutes. I need to make $17 for that trip or something close to that amount so what I always do is take the time that it’s going to take divided by two and if that number is close to the pay or the pay is over that number we’re good to go. i’ll accept it.

I just use the navigation in my car rather than waste a destination. But that is a good option as well. Also watch your speed, your CMT will be affected. It was flashing you were speeding.

CMT's are live. Don't speed, wild turns, hit the gas hard, brake hard. All goes against you now. Got hit for 2 of them here in Florida. One I sped over a bridge by 8mph beyond the limit and second I slammed on the brakes when an idiot woman decided to leave a gas station & not look in my direction (had a pax in the car) & nearly T-boned her.

If it's light rain, like what you seem to be driving in, I'll go out & continue. But if it's that torrential downpour with wipers going full blast & can't see 10 feet in front of your car? Then I'll pull over & wait for it to stop or lighten up. But I'm in Florida, so it doesn't last long. Safety first always!

WhT year Sentra? Is Sentra sturdy enough for rideshare? Big enough for big passengers or 3 in back seat?

Do you have the share feature there? I never go by the time because you may know a shortcut to the destination to pick the person up. So the time might be shorter than what the app says. I run into that all the time here. Plus avoiding traffic on busy roads & such.

$18 per hour before expenses is pretty bad. Don't play into Uber's hand. You should not take anything for less than $0.50/minute and it should by closer to $1/minute. Value your time more.

I see more $3 rides more than anything else here in Albuquerque, NM. If I can glitch this algorithm it would be nice 😂
