I had the good fortune of seeing him during some of his spoken word tours back in the day and have him sign the HR Giger poster that came with the Frankenchrist LP. He even offered to color in my glasses with the sharpie I gave him to sign my poster! Funny guy.

I saw them on this tour when I was too young to realize the significance. It was in New Brunswick NJ at the barn. Not there anymore. I do remember wanting to see them very much and enjoying it with my brother. I also remember being glad to be on the balcony because the floor was so violent with mosh pits, including the band members. They called it slam dancing then.
