Great arrangement! I was wondering if I could get permission to use this as background music in a fan game that I’m working on (non profit)? Credit given of course.

It's an Ibanez semi hollow body guitar into a Fender Deluxe Reverb with just a bit of reverb and some compression on it!

Great transcription and playing! I just made a donation. What notation software do you use?
@BrandonWallMusic6 ай бұрын
Thank you so much - transcription sent! I'm using Guitar Pro 8 as the notation software, it's great as it's guitar specific so you can notate a lot of nuances you can't in some other softwares.

Can the auto swell be used with delay for a reverse delay effect?
@BrandonWallMusic7 ай бұрын
Hmmm, I haven't actually tried that specifically, but the auto swell is before the delay pedal in the signal chain so I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work!

Any movement on the creation of the sheet music? I am telling you this would be a hit for classical guitar departments... all the upper bout reaches... I don't know if the right hand hammer-on will be frowned upon or not... but this would be played a lot by students...

Not a whole lot! Little bit of overdrive, (either the Strymon Sunset or the Fulltone Full Drive 3, can't recall at this point) bridge pickup and I think I had some compression going too, but that's it!

Great work! I was trying to transcribe this myself, and I almost hate that I discovered your channel and now I am cheating, ha ha. I agree with another commenter about reading the notes, however the tab does show the positions that you are playing at, which I'm assuming the particular positions were chosen for efficiency of movement (super important for high tempo), and the tone of a given string. I guess I'm just realizing the importance of the tone aspect. When I saw someone else playing the head, and taking large jumps on the G string at the D-B-D-Bb riff for example. I thought that was inefficient as my natural tendency was to find the notes at closer frets on adjacent strings, but then I realized I like that tone better when the same string was used :)
@BrandonWallMusic9 ай бұрын
I totally know what you mean, and yes I definitely did my best to make sure where I was playing things matched up with the source material. There are those doubled notes in bar 32/36 that of course you could just play on the same fret/string but it sounds a lot better if you can get them on different strings to exploit that difference in timbre to achieve a similar effect to the trumpet playing. Anyhow thanks for checking out the channel, glad you enjoyed the transcription!
