Why did you not mention Angela Dugalic from UCLA?? She is 6-4, and is shooting 53% overall, and is shooting 45% from 3 point range. She's made 100% of her free throws this year and is averaging over 7 rebounds per game and 10 points per game while averaging only 22 minutes per game. Dugalic is a senior. Barker is not.

Hunter, can you explain why you don't see Ayoka Lee in the W? Looking at her 65% shooting, 48.5 PER, 6'6 H&W, 12Rb 4Blk 32Pts /36, how could she not work as an excellent rotation big?
@HunterCruse1455 минут бұрын
She’s very productive in college, but her stamina isn’t good, not an impactful defender (rim or switching) & I don’t see much rim-running/rolling value either. Really the only *good* W player that fits that archetype is post-injury Bri Jones

I like UCLA, South Carolina, and Norte Dame. I don’t know about the undefeated teams. I haven’t seen Ohio State or Maryland. I have seen Tennessee…they beat my Iowa team…and they look good. But Iowa would have beat them if their guards had hit 3’s down the stretch. Now Iowa is a very good team. Iowa would be undefeated if their guards had hit 3’s down the stretch in their 2 losses. So a team as good as Iowa that can hit their 3’s down the stretch would be able to beat Tennessee if Tennessee does not continue to improve. By the end of the year Tennessee could be a very difficult team to play. Same with Iowa.

Thank you Hunter. Enjoyed your Rankings, and Commentary. Couple of questions if you can Oblige, Do you think Sivka has the Potential to Improve in Being a Finisher and Driving to the Basket more? Which could potentially draw more fouls and improve Sivka’s PPG. 2nd question- Is there any Player or ‘Players’ that you Personally Feel, Could possibly Contend with Bueckers for the No# 1 Draft Selection by the time The Numbers/Stats are all in, prior to the 2025 Draft? I Feel that its possible, and I would just like to know if you do also Hunter? Also, just adding, I personally think Haley Van Lith and Lucy Olsen have much More Talent and Potential as well as Strong Chance of being Drafted than vs as you listed them as mere Honorable mentions, “Just my Opinion” Thank you Hunter

HC, glad to see you finally added Lucy "i love lucy" Olsen to the list. However, I think you are under valuing her. People forget she was top 3 in the nation in scoring last year. Her role is different with Iowa. She a damn good ball handler who sets up her teammates and still has a good scoring average. I would say her defense is decent as well. Definitely would rank her ahead of Georgia at this point. And what about Sedona Prince? She's proving herself and you can't teach Six foot Seven.😊

Relentless team on both ends of the court... Love they throw up a lot of 3s and said a Prayer but once they are making a little more consistently then they are one of the team to look out for. Like to see them to upset SC team at least for this year... Imagine the last 3s points from Cardoso to crush them and lost the job for the head coach.

Enjoyed the video. My pick is Notre Dame to win it all because of insanely good guards. I think OU has chance for Elite 8. Have watched Michigan and like them to challenge for Elite 8. Agree Lelia return is key for Texas. But, their 3 freshman are impressive and give depth. Not surprised if Vic makes Final 4. At this point, my final 4 are Notre Dame, USC. Uconn and SC. To make Elite 8, Texas, OU, UCLA, and LSU. Great information as always !

IMO UConn is not tier 1. What separates the other 4 teams from them is depth. The 4th best players on UCLA, ND, SC & USC are better than anyone on UConn not named Paige or Sarah. LSU, TX & UConn are top heavy teams & should be tier 2
@Cocogirl4416 сағат бұрын
If Azzi can stay healthy, you’re looking at 3 former #1 recruits, 3 top 5 (maybe even top 1) draft picks, and probably the best big three in the country alongside ND. Not sure I see the depth from some of the other schools you mentioned. For example, USC. Outside of Juju and Kiki, none of their players are putting up crazy numbers/dominating in big matchups. The UConn and usc matchup was a perfect example of this where the Paige and Sarah (44 points) and Juju and Kiki (41 points) duos had 40+ points, and no one else on their teams had more than 9. Therefore, I would actually have UConn above them in depth cause they were at least missing two key players
@gman147416 сағат бұрын
@Cocogirl44 "if Aziz can stay healthy". Been hearing those words for yrs. At this point, elite Aziz Fudd is just a concept, a vision, a hope. Until it becomes reality I'm not factoring her in. As for USC, IMO Marshall & Kennedy Smith r better than any of UConn's ancillary players
@Cocogirl4414 сағат бұрын
@ it’s definitely safe to say Azzi is injury prone, so it’s a big if. However, I think the key with Azzi is that when she is not injured, she has shown she is still elite. This season, she averaged 18 points in 22 minutes on 66% shooting against ranked teams. The threat of a player of that caliber on the floor at the same time as Sarah and Paige is huge, cause she draws the same type of defensive attention often that Paige does, which leaves other players open. She was still coming off of injury against USC, but if you go watch the few minutes she was on the floor against USC, you’ll see multiple times where she drew multiple defenders, causing them to sag off Paige and Sarah and leave those two open. That’s a big advantage for the team even when Azzis not shooting. As for Smith and Marshall, statistically they’re on par with UConn’s role players, so I think it’s a big stretch to say USCs 4th best player is better than UConn’s 3rd best player. For example, Kennedy Smith averages 10 ppg and 3.8 rbg on 42% shooting. Her season high this year is 12 points. Ashlynn Shade averages 8.8 ppg and 2.3 rebounds per game on 49% shooting. Her season high this year is 27 points. Both averaging 25 minutes. Pretty comparable but I would say statistically Ashlynn has the edge. UConn is also getting Aubrey Griffin back in a few weeks, who averaged 10 ppg and 6 rpg on 55% shooting in 22 minutes. I would argue, right now, USC and UConn are right on par with each other, but when healthy, UConn will be deeper.
