I find cold-brewing is the best and saves you on the amount of tea you use. Put the normal amount of tea in the strainer for the cup/pitcher you want. Then use cold water to fill the cup/pitcher. Close it tight and let it sit overnight in the fridge. It won't over steep the tea because you're using cold water and you won't need double the amount of tea because you're not using ice that waters the tea down. :)
