Also what is the overall size of hat?
@barbaraoropeza61823 ай бұрын
My square came out to big how many inches should the square be?
@thebumblingbusybee3 ай бұрын
Hello there 👋 The finished size of the square for the hat measures around 3 3/4 X 4 1/4 Inches this varies slightly, depending on the type/brand of yarn used. Finished size for the hat is about 10” wide (measured in the middle of the hat - where the mushroom 🍄 granny squares are sewn together) 13" at its widest part (measured at the bottom/brim portion) and 8 1/4" high (this is measured when the hat is flattened in half - from top to bottom at the highest point) this also varies slightly, depending on the type/brand of yarn used 🤗

If you would like a smaller size - a smaller hook size worked well there! I hope that helps 🤗 Happy crocheting 🧶

can we make with number 3 DK WIEGHT YARN?
@thebumblingbusybee5 ай бұрын
Hello there!! 👋You can definitely use that weight yarn as an option for this pattern as well. The end result will be smaller since everything is downsized as a result. You may want to choose a smaller hook size to match your choice of yarn here as well 🧶! Happy crocheting!! 🤗
