Well done! On my bucket list. My husband and I drove past one time and didn't know what it was. We were close, but on our way elsewhere twice. Gotta bring my pastels and do a few paintings--oh, I think I need a month!

In the Navajo graffiti shot u can see the one date which to me looks like 1960- has been obliterated

Our guide told us the "graffiti" were put there relatively recently (last 100 years?) by Navajo workers in the area, as opposed to Ancient Pueblo Peoples from 900 AD to 1100 AD . We had an interesting discussion about when markings are considered "rock art" or "petroglyphs," and when they are considered "graffiti."

Thanks for the video Dan! You do great work. The photogenic kayakers you can see from a distance in the photos I sent you were actually Pam and Michael Petchauer and their son and daughter in law. I think that was a once in a lifetime experience!
