Hi I have a question? My Guinea pig was wheeking at 4:30 am this morning and woke me up. I didn’t know what to do (I just adopted him yetarday) so I gave him some food. He didn’t bother me again, but did I not feed him enough throughout the day? Will he normally be up at those hours? Because I really don’t want to be woken up at odd hours every night. Any tips to stop this?

Guinea pigs are dinural, so they just take a lot of naps and continue that pattern throughout the night. Was your piggie wheeking or was it chirping like a bird? That makes for a different answer. Also, do you have a friend for it to keep it company? That helps a lot.

Do you have any tips? I bought the GPRover second version and ot cane today and luna doesnt know how to use it. Unfortunate she had an ulcer in her mouth, lost weight, is emaciated, and lost muscle in her legs and cant use them.

I'm sorry you and Luna are going through that. I found the best way to help Fozzie learn how to use it was to get her strapped in and then put bell pepper just out of reach, so she had to wheel to it. She learned pretty quickly that way. It took her a bit to master turning. Sometimes, she'd take them too fast and flip over, so I only give her the wheels supervised.

Their cage looks clean, Their not scared to come out and get food, the bowls look full and it only looked to be that one that was thin. I have one who looks the same, she's as healthy as she can be, she's just very old and struggls to gain weight so that could be the issue. Either way, bananas are good to help them gain weight so I'm sure they're being well taken care of, don't worry :]
