I have a dagger of the same type, a German naval dagger from WWII. Can you help me determine if it is original or fake?

I have some of my modest collection on my little channel. This guys collection makes me feel bad about my life and having a family instead of just buying WWI stuff. I mean I had the chance to buy an Albrecht wooden wire bound trench mortar for 1600 bucks in the 1990s but I paid rent instead. Dumb...

‘Materialy ‘. Zeszyt 9 Historia, Polskiego Znaku Spadochronowego by Jan Lorys. Out of print, and expensive if you can find one. Polish with English translation. Soft cover, wasn’t published in hardcover. Just google the details above and you’ll see the book. Regards Dave

I have my great-grandfather's hardtack biscuit from WW1. Why did he keep it? Well, apparently it was common for soldiers to define some items as totems of luck and in his case, he apparently went to get this piece of biscuit from a tin inside a dugout, when a mortar bomb exploded right where he had been standing. So, the hardtack biscuit he had randomly picked from a tin became his 'lucky piece'. And yes, he did survive the war. Private Henry Henderson MM, 1/7 Black Watch (Royal Highlanders).
