Hello hello!! Unsolicited advice ahead so don’t read this if you don’t want to! I feel like the problem with the detailing on the clothes is that you’re trying to capture every little detail. In reality croquette and every other self respecting artist will just use texture and shape to make it seem like there’s actually detail there! Okay, maybe ccroquette isn’t the best example for this but if you look at wlop’s art for example you can easily see the textures he uses to imitate detail on jewellery and clothing (ᗒᗜᗕ)

When you said she don't use the airbrush tool, and instead uses these layers, what did you mean? Could you elaborate?

@@Reverse_hermit I meant she doesn’t really blend out colors with the airbrush, but instead uses solid blocks of color with similar shades to achieve the same effect, just more textured with a traditional art finish. Kinda like how a painter layers colors. I hope that makes sense. <3
