AMD K6 was not superior to K5. In fact K5 was clock for clock faster and especially floating point. K6 was cheaper to make and scaled better - easier allowed for high clock. Personally I don't know what AMD could achieve with K5 design if they went with it putting it on smaller nodes and improving but per clock K5 was superior to fastest K6. G3 as the fastest CPU in the world? Not sure about that but it sounds like Apple's marketing - probably stated more like fastest personal computer CPU in the world.

Ehhh...Tells us that the MOS 6502 was used in...the NES, the PC Engine (TG16), the Lynx... ...THEN explains how the company was purchased by Commodore in 1976! (Almost a decade before any of those game systems existed. LOL!!!) Good shit.

I remember quake and up. My recent upgrade cycle was p4 Northwood, core 2 duo, i7 920, Ryzen 1700 and now Ryzen 5950x. Not as dramatic as video cards upgrades, but video cards have stopped since the Nvidia 900 series

At 37 minutes. The story I heard was that a disgruntled IBM employee left the company with documentation proving IBM had committed many corporate crimes. He gave the documentation to Bill Norris at CDC. The next sit down that Bill Norris had with IBM was the last one. IBM capitulated and paid them off.

ENIAC was not the first electronic computer - Colossus was used during WW2 to break the German Lorenz code. Unfortunately its designer Tommy Flowers does not get the credit he deserves as the inventor of the first electronic computer.
