It will be that way, because children have no education and they are ignorant. Parents have obligation to educate them.

I think it is very confusing, despite it is clear that you want to make us believe it is another funny natural face, what we should do is to see our differences as normal, just like different ways of communication.

I think it's great how the video points out a problem in society that may be true. But anyone who has studied basic sciences in high school knows that only one variable should change at a time in an experiment. The (funny) faces made compared with the very last (sticking finger up your nose) face made is notably different. The video could just as well come to the conclusion that sticking fingers up your nose is socially unacceptable as you age... I'm not against what the video wishes to point out, but there's an obvious error in the planning of the experiment: it's not a controlled one

talking about stating the obvious!! Of course kids at that age don't know any better or have enough maturity to recognize a person with disabilities. I liked the part where the dad was checking in on his kid to see if she was making faces. The first mom looked scary as hell when she made that face...LOL!!!

What is this advert supposed to illustrate? That you shouldn't be sensitive about mental disabilities? Well you should, because it's a very sensitive issue, and if you stared at a mentally disabled person or tried to imitate their facial patterns in public, you would be viewed as a very insensitive idiot.

I work as a teacher and I know that prejudice comes from the adult. Fortunately, we are changing and improving for it to end. My name is Jamira. I am from Brazil

I think the children didn't see a difference... no prejudice... and imitated, just like they had for the previous people. Whereas, the adults were uncomfortable imitating what the disabled girl was doing, most likely because she was disabled. Most likely due to empathy for her. But never-the-less.... the adults did see the disabled person as different, and the children didn't. Interesting.

Sometimes people with disabilities aren't able to control the actions they perform, the adults are able to understand this fact. Therefore mimicking someone who you can see has a disability may lead the adults to think that it is an involuntary reaction and mimicking would be disrespectful and rude. Whereas the children aren't able to understand these concepts fully, and are continuing with the game.

끝까지 아이들의 표정이 순수합니다. 또 몸이 불편한 사람이 나오자 부모들이 아이를 살피는 모습에 나또한 편견없이 그들을 대하지않았나 반성하게됐네요.

Why did the adults stop? I am so confused with this video. I wouldn't put my finger in my nose whether on camera on not but I would definitely put my finger by my nostril to imitate the little girl. Did people really stop? Why? Why would someone stop because the child is disabled? I'm really confused...

You guys are not seeing the point by calling each other stupid or retarded. Children don't see disabled people as a taboo, they see then as people and the exact way that each of us will interpret this video is going to be different based on our own individual perceptions. That doesn't make anyone stupid, if you think it's okay to call someone stupid for having a different point of view obviously you aren't very smart either.

finally, a social experiment that's not flawed, bias, or probably fake kinda, the message isn't that clear, and isn't said anywhere but i'm 99% sure that it's that in the eyes of a child, there is no difference between them and a disabled child

I would never EVER want my child to think its okay to see a child with mental handicaps in public and start making the same face they were making and thinking it was fun. Ever. Regardless of reasoning, life isn't always a controlled experiment.
