there is any charm you think would be bad for this fight? sharp shadow makes it go further and looks like in ze'mer fight some times more range would be bad + since most of the ze'mer fight need parry would quick nail be bad as it reduces the nail hitbox active frames animation? also amazing gameplay, i wonder how much time was needed to master all they movesets

nice. this helped me learn which moves to parry and which ones to dodge, i was struggling with this boss beforehand. i didn't realize you could parry the projectile attack. parrying made the fight much easier once i got it down.

Staying on the purple thingy for a few seconds doesn't lower your hp. However, you will take damage if you try to attack the heir now.

that attack doesn't damage you immediately, probably to give you time to dodge it if you parry it.

And it's not just radiant, it's nail only + no charm. It's very difficult because you can't use baldur shell or spells to skip the special attacks.

How the hell do you get the parry so consistently, man? I find it so incredibly finicky. Even with the fat little knights I only get it 2 out of 3 times 😂

For most melees, the attacker will actually wait until the parry is over unless it is a follow up or boss. Example, the knights that you start with, they will swing once, if you parry slightly too early, they wait, however if you step back then get close to make them follow up, you can parry the follow up attack. On the other hand, bosses mostly have very powerful attacks that are slow enough to make the timing difficult, but don't usually prolong the wait.
