Great program, thank you! I do have a question. When I make the pattern and go to print it, the size is not the same as the dimension in the program they are smaller. What am I doing wrong?

You are only one step away from accurate printing! Please go visit the FAQ page and find the section called “My print out is not accurate. How can I calibrate my printer?”. coffee-craft.net/en/leathercraft_cad/faq Please follow the instruction and perform calibration for your printer. You should be able to print your pattern in exact size.

when i map out my pdf to print, i like to print on tabloid. My Pdf keeps exporting with the length squished. im within the blue page parameter. i just keep moving the page and saving test pdfs until it works. do you know what is causing that and how to avoid it?

macOSのバージョンは何をお使いですか？バージョンアップ後はmacOSの設定のセキュリティとプライバシーの所で再度Leathercraft CADの起動を許可する必要があります。それを行った上で起動できないと言う事でしょうか？であれば、一度別のユーザーアカウントをMac で作成し、そのユーザーでログインした状態でレザクラCADを起動してみて下さい。もしそれで起動すれば元のユーザーアカウントのレザクラCAD設定の何かが壊れているのだと思いますのでその場合は対処方法をお教えしますのでまたコメント頂ければと思いますが。

@@coffee-and-craft 別のユーザーアカウントかどうかは分かりませんが今まではアプリに入れる際に、「中止」か「書き換える」か「別に残す」かの三択があり、今までは書き換えを選んでいましたところを別に残す方も試しましたが、同様にすぐに落ちる感じでした。

Hello! I am Oleksandr, I live in the city of Kyiv, Ukraine. Found your wonderful program for creating templates. I started learning how to use it, I like everything. But there were errors: 1) I can not save the template in a PDF file, it is empty and with an error. 2) I am sending the templates for printing, they are not printed, an empty sheet. The program is the latest version on the MACbook. Thanks!

I got your email. Your LCC file looks fine. The PDF file you sent me is very small. That means you chose a wrong paper size. Please make sure you choose the correct paper size (such as A4) in the print dialog. That should solve the problem. You might need to re-select the page by clicking the page setup button in the print preview window.

Is there any possibility to insert marks in the PDF that allow the points on the page to be identified for cutting after printing the pattern? This would be very useful when part of the pattern does not fit on an A4 page and is split into two or more pages. Thanks in advance for replying.

Dear Luthier leather, firstly, thank you very much for your efforts to improve the Leathercraft CAD software. It is extremely useful for anyone dedicated to making leather items, whether as a hobbyist or professional. By the way, I have a question for you. Is there a way to measure the length of round shapes? For example, a pocket (on backpacks, purses, bags, etc.) has rounded corners. If I need to measure the exact perimeter of this pocket, how can I do it? I tried using the dimension tool, but it only gave me the radius of the rounded corner, so I had to manually calculate the arc length. I also used the 's' tool, which gave me the measurement of the rounded corner (in parentheses). Is this the only way to do it?

There was no eraser tool or trimming tool available when I published this video last year, but as of today version 1.8.7, there is a trimming feature that you can trim/erase an excess part of line, circle, arc or Bezier curve just by clicking on it. You can find the trimming button at the left tool box, the 4th button from the bottom. (Or hotkey "!")

Sweden! My impression of Swedish people is they all speak English very fluently just like Dutch people so I thought the English version is fine for some of those European countries but I could be wrong. Then Swedish translation would be helpful!

フィードバックありがとうございました！次のバージョンからShiftキーを押しながら選択図形をドラッグすると水平もしくは垂直方向に移動する仕様にしました。 なお、今のバージョンでも2通りやり方があって、Windowsの場合はCtrlキーを押しながらカーソルキーで1mm単位で移動、Ctrl+Shift+カーソルで0.1mm単位で移動できます。MacはCtrlの代わりにcmd キーです。 もう一つ、右クリックメニューの一番上の「距離を指定して移動またはコピー」でも同じような事が可能です。ご参考まで。 coffee-craft.net/leathercraft_cad/shortcut_keys

The exact same feature is not there, but you can get the similar results from multiple different ways in this software depending on where you can be flexible and they are all quite easy. The easiest one is the case that you want a fixed radius (r=5mm for example) and you are okay with auto pitch making the stitching pitch close to 4mm as much as possible. Or if you need r=5mm and stitching pitch needs to be exactly 4mm, but you can be flexible for the width and the height.

@@coffee-and-craft that’s amazing! Sorry I just left a new comment yesterday. I’m just now seeing this hahah. Those are good ideas. I ended up making an R10 radi and marking the center of the arc and using the fixed stitches for my 3mm irons from the center of the arc outwards in both directions. On fusion360 through trial an error I was able to find a radi 10.666 and spaced my holes at a distance ( not 3mm ) so the diagonals would be perfectly consistent to the stitches that were straight. I would use my 1 prong to punch those holes. Ultimately that was a massive pain & I’m learning to be more flexible. Fusion360 allows for more control than your software, but your software has been much more enjoyable. I haven’t made a pattern in 2 years and the learning curve is significantly shorter with your software than fusion360. Good job! If I could give two pieces of feedback, If possible the feature I mentioned above would be amazing. A way to edit bezels or lines dimensions without deleting them and remaking them Like fusion 360 spines would be amazing to get some organic curves Again thank you so much for putting this together. I’ve been really enjoying it the more competent I get with leather craft cad

オイルは２種類使ってまして、１つは刃物用の椿オイルで、もう一つはレザクラ用のプラントオイル（Lized）です。椿オイルはとても浸透性が良いようだったので、あまり染み込まないプラントオイルも併用した次第です。料理用の油でも良いとは思うのですが、オリーブオイルですら後で酸化臭が強くなる可能性があるので使っていません。逆にエゴマ油とか亜麻仁油とかの乾燥油だと時間とともに乾燥して硬くなっちゃいますしね。

Awesome, I look forward to trying out V1.8. I have had issues exporting SVG files I create into Easel software. Sometimes the software wouldn't recognise the file or not register joins in radius corners when attempting to process images for CNC. I have been experimenting with designing products and then milling the templates from acrylic on my CNC router.
