Toczyska sings like my teacher has been trying to get me to do for years now.😂 I’m getting there slowly but surely. Thanks so much for posting this. It’s a great guide and a reminder in a time of no chest voice of how important it really is. We can even see Freni fighting the good fight keeping the chest voice in there which is what allowed her to successfully sing Aida. Brava to both great singers and technicians.

Samson has not a chance with this mezzo-soprano 😵💫 She's a perfect Dalila! Combining some of the lighter "feminine" tones found in sopranos' renditions of this piece, with the alluring chest voice of a mezzo ❤🔥Such clear diction too!

She's incredible!!! ❤❤❤ Easily one of my favorite mezzos ever! She's exceptional in every way and a favorite "Dalila"! I love how she sings this aria with a certain light sweetness I haven't heard in other mezzos, but with those profound and powerful chest tones 🔥

Śpiewa Pani partie mezzosopranowe, a nie ma Pani dołów, tak charakterystycznych dla mezzosopranów.

Szanowna Pani, nie jestem Maestrą Toczyską osobiście, ale niemniej poleciłabym niezwłoczną wizytę u lekarza laryngologa. Dolny rejestr Pani Toczyskiej można podziwiać na wielu innych nagraniach oraz czytać o nim w artykułach np. New York Timesa czy Washington Post, jeśli tutaj umknął Pani uwadze, co zdaje mi się dość nierealne. Za komentarz jakkolwiek dziękuję, bo uśmiałam się jak dawno nie z tak amatorskiej i najbardziej jak to możliwe oddalonej od rzeczywistości oceny. Z pozdrowieniami i życzeniami szybkiej poprawy słuchu! Mam ogromną nadzieję usłyszeć również Pani doły :)

@@stefaniatoczyskamusic Tak się składa, że ja dołów nie mam i nawet o nie nie zabiegam, gdyż z natury jestem sopranem. Kocham śpiew i często słucham nagrań śpiewaków. Mezzosoprany i alty zadziwiają bogactwem alikwotów w dolnych partiach głosu. I tego oczekuje słuchacz. Tak że słuch mam dobry i narazie nie wybieram się do laryngologa. Wyraziłam tylko swoją opinię i przepraszam, jeżeli Panią uraziłam. Również pozdrawiam!

@@wieslawakostur1446 z tego co wiem na temat podstawowej wiedzy wokalnej, sama również będąc śpiewaczką, to to, że każdy głos, z sopranem włącznie, winien swoje doły w miarę indywidualnych możliwości rozwinąć, aby reszta głosu działała prawidłowo, tak więc zachęcam jednak do zadbania o nie. Ponadto, nie wyraziła Pani „opinii”, tylko zdaniem, cytuję: „nie ma Pani dołów”, stwierdziła Pani fakt, zresztą błędnie. Mnie nic nie uraziło, ponieważ, powtórzę, nie jestem Stefanią Toczyską, tylko prowadzę ten oto kanał jej sztuce dedykowany. Przypuszczam zresztą, że sama artystka ani nie zwróciłaby uwagi, ani nie odpowiedziałaby na tego rodzaju „mądrość”.

Io non sono la maestra Toczyska personalmente, invece un’ammiratrice del suo immenso talento e arte, già come sono grande ammiratrice dell’arte sua, cara signora Ricciarelli. Se vuole, qui sul canale KZbin di Stefania Toczyska Music può anche trovare una bellissima registrazione del duetto di Anna Bolena proprio con lei e Stefania Toczyska - una meraviglia assoluta da ogni parte. Years ago I got to see Ms. Toczyska in Aida. She was THE BEST Amneris I’ve ever seen live. Amneris is still my favorite character in the opera and has the most amazing music, in my opinion. And Ms. Toczyska doesn’t waste a note. She’s absolutely incandescent!!!!! I do wish singers today sung with such ease, expression, CLEAR PURE VOWELS and diction, and fully incorporated REAL CEST registration like the Great Stefania Toczyska. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Yes ! Wonderful ! But for me, le mélange des registres est également bien présent. Ce qui est remarquable chez cette artiste, c'est que l'usage de la voix de poitrine n'empêche pas que la sonorité soit "accrochée" très haut dans la brillance des harmoniques "de tête" - ce qui assure à l'artiste verticalité, projection et, surtout, "naturel" et liberté dans la conduite de sa voix, c'est-à-dire de son timbre dont elle peut ainsi varier les couleurs, les ombres et les lumières. Il existe un "naturel" de la voix d'opéra au sens où le travail et l'élaboration ne perdent jamais de vue la singularité, la "nature" et les caractéristiques inaliénables du timbre. Ce commentaire sans prétention aucune, si ce n'est restituer mon plaisir à écouter Stéfania Tockzyska dans cet air si galvaudé et pourtant si fondamental !

Podobają mi się trzy Amneris to : Oralia Dominguez, Stefania Toczyska, Małgorzata Walewska. Każda inna, ale każda z doskonałą techniką i takie wyraziste.
