Beautiful, as always. The light is so interesting at this time of day. Love it! One question -- are the images you show the jpeg/hif straight out of the X-T4, or do you edit the RAW files to show? Thank you!
@freedom-man.photographer11 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment. 😆 In my case, I shoot everything in RAW. Then I edit it at home using Light Room.

Great shots! Do you feel that the 16-55 lens gets heavy as you're walking around and doing your photography?
@freedom-man.photographer27 күн бұрын
Thank you for your comment.😊 I also think that the 16-55 is a heavy lens. When I go photo walking with this lens all day, my arms start to get sore. However, the image quality is outstanding. I can mass-produce beautiful photos. That's why I continue to use this lens even though it's heavy.😅

Loved this one! I would enjoy more information about the camera settings you use. Great compositions. Thank you :)
@freedom-man.photographerАй бұрын
Thank you for your comment. 😁 Basically, when shooting during the day, the camera settings are auto shutter speed and auto ISO (up to about 1600). The only things I adjust when shooting are the exposure settings and aperture value ! At night , I have to tweak the settings even more! I'll also provide more details in a video or community post. 😊

Love the shots!. I noticed some general softness with your shots. Do you apply some negative clarity? Are they all shots out off the camera? Or do you just do some post-processing depending on what you think the photo needs?
@freedom-man.photographerАй бұрын
Thank you for your comment 😊 Basically, I shoot photos in raw format, then use Lightroom to adjust the color and remove passersby. I think the reason the photos look soft is because I make detailed adjustments to the shadows and peripheral light 😃📷

I'm curious when you go out, do you make a plan ahead of time? Do you research a walking route? Or do you just land somewhere and try? I ask because where I live, if I don't have a plan, I'll probably come back with no real photos. How do YOU do it?
@freedom-man.photographerАй бұрын
Thank you for your comment 😊 I always check in advance the basic outline of the spot I'm going to. For example, "the main location of this spot" or "Which season is it beautiful?" If the spot is famous for autumn leaves or cherry blossoms, I try to choose the season that suits the spot. By the way, I have never looked up the route I would take beforehand! I think it's better to go without looking up the details so that I can take photos with my fresh sensibility at tourist spots. I hope this article helps you😊

Looks like a great area for street photography, hardly any tourists... thanks for sharing! I'll be taking a photo trip to Taiwan next January...is this Shennong St relatively safe at night to wander around alone?
@freedom-man.photographer3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment 😊 I didn't feel particularly unsafe when I went to this tourist spot. It seems that the lanterns are lit at night and the townscape is beautiful. So I think it's relatively safe to go out at night 👍 Well, this was my first time traveling to Taiwan, so I don't know much about the security situation there...💦

I just found your youtube channel and I love your videos and photos! I was wondering about your XF-16-55mmF2.8 lens. I'm thinking about buying it, but I heard it is very big and heavy, what are your experiences with the lens? Thank you 🙏
@freedom-man.photographer3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment 😊 I'm so happy that you found my video and liked it 😆 Regarding the XF16-55mm lens, the depiction and texture of the photos are overwhelmingly top-notch! It can achieve images that cannot be expressed with other lenses. However, it is still heavy. After about an hour of photo walk, my arms get really tired. If you want a lighter and smaller lens, you might want to consider a third-party lens! For example, a SIGMA lens. There are many lenses on the market that have a good texture and high image quality🙂

@freedom-man.photographer3 ай бұрын
Thank you for your comment. You can see the beautiful autumn leaves from mid- to late November every year. However, the time when you can see the autumn leaves varies slightly every year, so if you are visiting Japan to see the autumn leaves, it is better to check the exact time in advance✌️
