From Canada and South African. Get those super rich to create reasons for Boks to play in SA. I understand why these guys will chase big money, there is however enough big money in SA to keep many of the boks with families at home strengthening the 4 top regional teams to compete internationally. I do also recognize the value for Bok squad to have international team insight, just don’t like seeing the SA teams loose matches so frequently when there is a big source of players.

Yeah France played quite a limited game - didn’t need to vary their tactics and just used their forwards to smash it up and a few moments of brilliance from one or two of their key players Certainly not a complete all round performance from France but then they didn’t need to given how poor wales were/ are

Pressure on Gatland grows? Why there was someone expecting Wales would have won this match?
@DavidShort-q1dКүн бұрын
Probably the most experienced Welsh team available Was totally crushed and destroyed by a French team playing IN 3RD GEAR and still scored 43 points and nulled Wales While leaving alot of points out on the field Wales where just clueless and outplayed in every department and area of the game Honestly W.Gatland would have done better selecting a team of complete Novices Only J.Morgon looked remotely competent Everyone else was just BAD and SAD

I don’t think they are as bad as this. They have plenty of decent players, but they have 2 coaches - Gatland and Howley - that are utterly hopeless. They would never beat France, but I genuinely don’t think they should be this bad
@solinvictus1234Күн бұрын
Coaches have little to do with it. If a team do not perform the issue are the players, not the coach. How much coaches changed Italy trough times before to have great players like now and started to win something? How much Australia and still not winning? How much Japan now? If a coach doesn't have the players there's nothing he can do.

Hoping Prendergast does well but he has a long way to go before he's as good as Sexton, still very much a developing player. Hopefully the early international experience will accelerate it and I think it will. In Ireland we have this weird tendency to hold back on players until they are 25 which none of the other strong teams do. Glad to see Baird there too, less glad to see Henderson.
@lizzyhanahoe41973 күн бұрын
I wish the media would just let our 10s play their game and stop comparing to Sexton. Let’s move on from there and let these young men get on with their game.
