I could use a tutorial for how to make grids in detail. I know it goes somewhat deep, I haven't figured out how to change letters to choice for example, or change the grid length here and there. I assume it's possible, it's just not a priority to study for me. So... maybe that's a video idea for you :)

yes yes, but autocad have more feature, for example you can make dynamic blocks and update their tags based on their dimensions that can be add in a field in attribute then extracted in excel and back in with attin and attout. you cant do that in gstar cad coz someone forgot to add dimension placeholder to attribute fields...........so you wont be able to make self updating attributes so no use of attin and attout to fasten code tag process. and you will say ok you can live with that problem is when you need to code 5000 pieces manually :)) and without any mistake :)

Hi, GstarCAD does not support these plugins. But it supports other plugins for such tasks.

Hi Ivancu, Confinement can be achieved by adding RC beams and RC columns to the model, there is no video at the moment.

Gstarcad support all Soficad formats. There is no need to continue using Soficad becouse it can be replaced with Gstarcad.

Hi Michel, No, GstarCAD does not support a SOFICAD addon for reinforcement. But we have other solutions for that matter for example GstarConcrete addon. Or STRAKON which is a sophisticated software for reinforcement also in BIM / 3D and works as a standalone software without CAD. There is also CYPE CAD solution etc.

@@adriabim2454 Hello AdriaBIM We can change the 3D-Cube window background to Dark. You can change in the Settings option of the title bar, can you try this following steps 1. Go to Settings tab, 2. then to General settings, 3. then click on Display, 4. By double clicking on Color schema in the Cube-window, change the color from light to dark.

Yes, not all the esential data is transfered thru IFC. SAF / SAM export results are much better.

@@tomaszpoczta2220 Hi Tomasz, SAF (structural analysis format) is created directly within BIM software (for example ArchiCAD) and you can just import that ''wireframe'' model (which contains only needed structural analytical model data) to your structural analysis software like AxisVM and run the analysis. So it is more efficient, faster and accurate.
