MAnnnnnn the sweep to knee cut is so simple yet so effective! I was trapped doing always berimbolo, but it looks so much more effective to go to knee cut. Thanks!

great techinique! i have a question, prof. as i know, calf slicer is illegal in ibjjf purple belt competition. was that purple belt comepetitor DQed or won?

I do the opposite of this when someone has a wrestling background that’s more complete than mine. They generally don’t want to enter my guard and just spin around me looking for a standing pass, so I put my leg in and cut the corner when they’re standing

I watched this on the metro on my way to class today and then applied it during a roll. The higher belt told me he hasn’t felt such top pressure from side control in a long while. Thanks for the great tip! (Blue belt in Taipei Taiwan.)

Couldn't she just tip you over to your right (her left)? Your right leg is stuck behind hers and your right hand is grabbing her lapel.
