What a great story. I have been captive to it, hanging on every word, enjoying every twist. I thought I had this mystery figured out early. It goes way off into unexpected territory. Great portrayals of realistic characters and reactions. Listen to it and go buy the author's stuff. I'm going to.

I was amazed to see another book written by Anne Frasier in my "new watch" list. I was thrilled. I've now read 5 of her books and loved each one. I really enjoy this author writing. She's my new favorite writer. Thank's to everyone who made this audible book possible.

Excellent book. Totally engaging, thanks for uploading 😊
The narrator does a splendid job, but not even that covers up the fact that the author is outdated & of very limited competence. Nowadays, AI can write such a cliché dish within 20 minutes.

Jude trying to shoot the Governor felt way out of left field and out of character. She didn’t have bouts of violence at any other time. It really took me out of the story.

I didn't like to go against all the great narration nonsense above I was waiting for a homophone but the double barrelled name had unsettled me from the get go.

I usually like this author this story was ridiculous. The main character was too stupid for words. I can't stand when authors repeat themselves... I lost count at how many times she said surely this and surely that. Blah
