Public Service Announcement: heed their advice!!!. I set my original CPAP aside. A few years later I was diagnosed with arterial fibrillation. Cardiologist linked it to apnea. I just had surgery to correct the Afib.

For those of you who are watching but have not done it yet, the catheter and the bag are a minor annoyance . I you need to go out, just put your bag in a shopping bag....no one will notice or care. NOW, for the thing that we were all REALLY concerned with, catheter removal. When I went in after seven days to have mine removed, two of my doctor's EXCELLENT nurses performed the ceremony. First of all, forget about all dignity and modesty when you enter a building that has UROLOGY on the front. My two nurses were as courteous and respectful of my dignity as they could be; however, ya gotta do what you gotta do. Just go in sit down and do what they tell you. The prep to make sure the bladder and ureter were working ok took a couple of minutes and involved them flowing saline INTO my bladder and back out again. Not uncomfortable at all. Second, when that's all working they removed the catheter for me, it felt wonderful. No discomfort at all, just very very happy to get it done. Don't get nervous or apprehensive; you'll be fine. Had mine done in Oct of 22 and everything is fine. Doctors at Urology Associates in San Antonio did a first rate job.

No doubt another goddamned urology clinic with a 75% male patient population and an all female support staff. Females never have to put up with this double standard BULLSHIT. I wonder how many (if any) of your all female support staff would find care in a gynecology clinic with an all male support staff comfortable or even acceptable and yet have no qualms about shoving what they find unmanageable up my dick, my ass and down my throat. Any below the belt medical care is difficult enough for me as it is without having to swallow it from an all female support staff gaggle of double standard hypocrites.

I had LVRS at Duke Hospital. The surgery did not go well. My breathing is worse and I need additional oxygen than before the operation. It has been a little over a year since I had the surgery. Have made many trips back to Duke and many additional test. Doctors don't know why it didn't work for me. Think a lot before having the surgery. Their are newer valve procedures that are now approved. Nothing more can they do for me!!

you have to be more stupid to believe these nonsense with prayer and to be healed by Jesus or someone else. Not all the gods in this world heal you.

If you have faith , then anything can become true. I'm definitely a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. And I'm a believer in prayer.. Because I've had some really bad attacks that just about took me out.. And I believe that I'm still alive because of the prayers from others and myself.. I also believe that what ever happens in a person's life is in not in our hands. Things and situation that happen to us , be it good or bad. It's if they are allowed to happen by God.

I pray for others. I believe in healing hands, and prayers even at a distance. Faith I believe has much to do with it for the recipient.. and even the faith for oneself in the Lord.. But it is ultimately His call. I cannot blame the Lord for my condition. Had COVID 4 times worst bronchial flu ever inbetween and a smoker. So COPD was the end result. But I appreciate any prayers, for me to live some happier years breathing. Currently I'm just so depressed by it all.
