This guy seems like he is nice and means well and cares, though, wonder why anyone would want to worship the kind of God he presents. Why would some God make most of its creations destined for eternal torture after a small blip existence here on Earth? This guy is professing a sadist god we're 99% of its human creations were created to be tortured for eternity. Tortured in hell forever, eon after eon, age after age, as far as a person can possibly imagine and then multiply that by Infinity to be tortured in hellfire, suffering and pain because they happened to be born in the wrong place, in the wrong time, on the wrong continent, or never even heard the name Jesus. That kind of God is it tyrannical monster. In Luke, same author as Acts Jesus did say, father forgive them for they know not what they do. Maybe there's some Nuance in this that we don't all quite understand. Those he forgave did not profess his name, totally betrayed him and then mocked him, knowing he was going to his death for no real good reason. Still, he said father forgive them for they know not what they do. Again, maybe God is more understanding and merciful than we can comprehend and for reasons, we also don't quite understand.

Thank you for the analogy of the ships and our Christian life. My husband Roy was a Captain of cruise ships and so I know a lot about how ships work etc. Thank you.
