Its surprising how much more civil the host is here in comparision to the later interview in 1975 🤔

In my mind….the very best covers album of all time! Elvis should have listened to this and understood the meaning of quality when he was churning out whole albums in a single night!

This is probably one of my favourite interviews!!! He went on this show again in 1974, unfortunately he was struggling with addiction at this time and it’s interesting how much coceain can effect your personality. It really shows if you compere this interview with the one he did a couple years later. David was a wonderful human being and I love him with all my heart ❤❤

I remember watching this in that summer of 73 , on Top Of The Pops. This is the first time I have seen it since then all of 49 years ago. Bowie throughout the seventies was amazing, but I especially love this period. Like one of the other comments on this, I miss him. I am 65 now and from being just turned 16 when this video was out, Bowie had been there throughout almost 50 years of my life. It was almost like losing a friend. It is still hard to believe he isn't here, his music is still constantly out there.
