It is the nature of FTP to promote bad play. If their model promotes purchases of premium planes and accounts, then they will not change it. Promoting skill increase, and satisfying team play doesn't make bank.

Yeah I'm a 2014 player. Took nearly a decade away and i dont recognize the game anymore. I don't understand any of the trophies.Orders battle passes etc. I miss my World War 2 centered online combat flight simulator. Where you were trying to get to early cold war and permanent down teirs against late war props.

My us winrate isnt too bad if i remember at these props. And us props are propably overall some of the more powerful if you can work around the rudder compression, wich should be on all props basically. But like p39n p51c f8f p38l f6f p51h ect are really powerful and basically unkillable if played well. P51h is still just the best prop when it still has wep.

@KauppaKomissaari The American props are good. It's just that their playstyle seems to be outside of the style most players in war thunder implement. You need to be quite patient and disciplined with a lot of American planes. Which is not a skill most players have in excess.

Its like the xp 50 or 55 .. at 4.0 or 4.3 .. I dont necessarily think they should be much higher .. because I dont struggle with them but i can understand why people do .. but most xp50 pilots have heard its so op so they buy it and its cheaper . than most .. and they are just horrible in them so that k/d is low .. so when the numbers even out .. itll prob never be raised

As I've gotten better at air rb, I've found that a very good strategy for solo play is to fly a plane that has great firepower and either high top speed or an airspawn. I play these planes super aggressively (kind of a low skill strategy imo) and rack up tons of kills and a pretty high win rate simply because so many of the people you face have no idea what they're doing. Get 3 or more enemy fighters out of the match early, and it very often snowballs the game. On the opposite end of the coin however, you'll also encounter the tryhards who have thousands of hours playing Yaks, the XP-50, the Wyvern etc. These people will make games drag out forever because the moment they're at any form of a disadvantage, they will run away and camp the airfield.

That's a fair strategy. Although sadly a lot of American planes such as the early P-51Ds can really only run away. Especially if theyre out of altitude.

IMHO, this has such a low BR because there isn't enough player data to support a BR change. It's relatively common for rarely-flown planes to have BRs changed. Even say five years ago, this was a plane that you rarely saw.

If you can force the fight with an F8 into a slow fight. I.E. 500-750KPH. The Mig-17 airframe kicks in and because of the afterburner you hold energy quite well. Thats where I try to deal with F8s as for Arietes I tend to stay away or gang up on them.

@elcangry855 I'm aware. But it does go both ways. Knowing when to just slow down a fight so you can get your teammates to shoot him down is a good skill to have.

@ yeap that what im sayin you dont get to chose you engamend and some time there nothing you cant do to some who shot a missile at you frome the haven maby mig 17 limp 5 you try out tunr that but to honest the fbu2 and plane like that they are way to low on br 9.3 should no been seeing this kind of missile as much i love that br some time imposible play and most of the time how is now day you temate it be boming base or doing dumpes stuf ever so yea it hit miss you have good poind but how compres the br is is almos imposible

Id rather be in a 9.3 fighitng a 10.3 than an 8.3 fighitng a 9.3 however. So it could be worse.

@awman3966 this video was run on Low settings. My N1K2 video and most of my other videos are on Min. I was messing with the settings because OBS was being dumb and suddenly the footage I was recording was playing at like 3fps. Problems of having a crappy laptop.

Russian 50cal gun hit harder than US 50cal because you have explosive inside half of your rounds (3g of TNT if I remember correctly), US rounds are just incendiary…

what do you think of the p51s in general? because every mustang has its own thing and I find it hard to look through all the small details. But for example the D5 is ofc the first mustang with a bubble canopy, the d10 has octante fuel or higher mp (I am not sure anymore) the D20 had the better stabilized tail and the D30 has the better WEP. Is that all true? maybe you know some things I dont and maybe im even wrong about something

@degrees7097 In general they are good aircraft but only on the right hands. The D5, D10, and D20 all fly similarly but the D10 can dogfight more reliably than the other two due to its increased horsepower. I believe it has a higher manifold pressure rating. You're thinking of the P51A. That one has high octane fuel. The D30 has a stronger engine in both full throttle and WEP giving it a much better climb rate and acceleration bringing it closer to a 109 in terms of how it functions in game. Now H is a whole different beast. Thing really needs to be 7.0. Fly it how you want essentially

@GreenFuryGaming i don't remember the last time I fought any of those in a D30. But you can do that with most mustangs at the right speed. Just the D30 can keep it up longer and you have more room for error.

Really well put- this is not a plane for beginners, which is why pilots flying this would have progressed up from (I think) a Stearman, and a bunch in between before they saw combat in one of these. Discipline, throttle control, knowledge of the your own AND enemy planes, and tactics are all key to allowing the package to perform as intended.

I def think that American props are extremely difficult. I always liked the Yaks the most, as they have exactly what I want in a plane. And subsequently, 9/10 times I see a P-51 in my Yak-3, I think "free kill". However, the rare ones that sideclimb and retain their speed, they always get me

@わるわる-r9r fuel mixture only really needs to be changed with altitude. The lower you are the less you need. But if you're overheating raising it can really help. But it really is different for each aircraft.
