Yo I've got the yd-2r and I flipped the tranny and the motor is going faster in reverse the it is going forward.... is the gear the only way to fix it?

I know this is a older video, but what was the purpose of the clear film before the pice you drilled on the shaft. Wouldnt that stop the flow of fluid? Just curious
@cadetkonki2687 Жыл бұрын
It does add much resistance when the damper is coming back up, but it bends out of the way when the damper is compressed so oil can flow theough. Its a very effective way of simulating rear rebound damping to get the rear end to squat and stay squatted to achieve high grip under throttle.
@cadetkonki26872 жыл бұрын
I know its been a minute and will forever to be, but I am struggling to much and frequently refer here for answers. I have a heavily rear biased chassis on anti-torque setup, squared-out wheel geometry in the rear, big bores w/ drilled holes all around with light oil, and damper ball extensions all around and still cannot achieve anywhere near this kind of movement. I know things are kind of different now but I know youre knowledgable, I was wondering if I could get even a small tid bit of just basic info. Hope you are doing well Raymond

just found this vid, Im into rc drifting and setting up my rmx 2.0 been doing it for about 8 months now, and love the hobby.. what is it that enables the car to be able to do reverse entries? Im assuming its a mixture of a perfect suspension setup with a rear active toe kit and a bull shit amount of boost?

what part did you use for front body post
@ummcantthinkofone3 жыл бұрын
Thats a brilliant idea to use tye tyre mounting jig as shock holder. Have you ever tried putting the shock shaft in the shock body and then add the o ring? Less chance of damaging the o ring from the threads of the shock shaft as the o ring is not compressed at all.

What's your opinion on usukani drift chassis? And do you think yokomo is the best way into rc drifting
@DakineDrifter8083 жыл бұрын
Sorry for the late reply. I personally have never used usukani before so I can't say for sure but it's probably not the easiest to get drifting good. Also Yokomo is the best in variety of aftermarket parts but Sakura D5 would be the cheapest but still good way into rc drifting. I would recommend getting good electronics with it

Sorry for the late reply. I put my weight in the rear to help add traction to the rear wheels. And also put it higher up so the side bite is much better
