I wash my ass at home after a quick wipe, I have for years. But regarding rustic pooping, I sometimes have no choice when on a trail walking my dogs in the woods. And I don't wipe with anything, just wash my ass when I get home. It might surprise people, but generally there are no stains. When you squat like that, your buttocks are spread so it comes out a lot cleaner than when sitting on a toilet with your buttocks squeezed together. Good video btw.

Ok so here in England in the 1960's working class people used newspaper to wipe their bums with we also used the time wilst shitting for readibf tge newspaper before recycling it (tehe) or for a few moments of quiet and deep contemplation. However in the countryside as kids we used to go for long walks of adventure just us boys girls couldnt come because tge things that we would do were too dangerous for them and they would slow us down. However if you got caught short and needed to go while walking through woids forest along riversides or through medows then you would use grass or doc leaves to wipe yourself with we would have never have used straw because straw scratches your tender arse skin too much and it also makes you itch however we may have used hay.

I always wash my ass even before COVID so having no toilet paper wasn’t a big problem for me
