Beautiful, poignant and timeless. Speaking to us now, as powerfully as in his days, in his life, in his time that he was living. Oh me, oh my, where is the light that shines brightly, when darkness ever surrounds us? That light, that hope, that power, shines within and around all of us. We've just got to look within, to the good of us, to find it.

I've discovered that this poem was not written by Edgar Allan Poe, which might help explain why he never published it in his lifetime. According to my independent research results, it was written, along with "The Raven," by Mathew Franklin Whittier, the younger brother of famous Quaker poet John Greenleaf Whittier, based on real-life circumstances. There is one reference in it which specifically relates to Mathew's late wife, Abby, for whom the poem was written.

To begin with, I've found evidence that Edgar Allan Poe's claim to authorship of "The Raven" was merely a scam. According to my findings, Poe had nothing whatsoever to do with either writing it, or its first publication. He scooped it by three days, replacing the real author's pseudonym with his own name. "The Raven," as I have concluded after over a decade of independent research, was written by Mathew Franklin Whittier, the younger brother of the poet John Greenleaf Whittier, based on real-life circumstances.

Sorry please not in such an American accent, not Daffodils. No disrespect but try it in a neutral English accent. It sounds AI so just change it.
