If you have Acura tell the Honda dealer it's the accord. Otherwise they'll tell you to go to the Acura dealer. Not sure why they don't understand it's the same engine.

Before the lacquer thinner, I tried 5 bottles of Catalean at different time intervals and it increase the performance of the car but the light came back on after like 50-100miles . Then I tried 1 bottle of Dura Lube later and the light came on after 300-400 miles. Thanks for the video❤

hey i had this problem with my TLX i used 87 and started having knocking metallic sounds, now i charged 92 gas and the sound stopped, just for culture, do you know why this sound goes present with 87 gas?
@deicibao5 ай бұрын
Yes, 87 makes the spark plug firing go off a bit. The combustion inside of the piston does not ignite in time and causes the noise. I have used 89 in some cases and it runs ok. 91 and above is best. Also, these engines require valve adjustment. Check your service manual and see if you are at the mileage for adjustment. I will run smoother 👍

My ‘13 Acura RDX has the code P0420 , I used my humble scanner and I was able to check O2 sensors and Catalytic converter , among others emission components, CAT # 1 reading was HIGH, the rest of components were OK , I’m a DIY enthusiast, in my case it’s not about the cost of the catalytic itself, is about the time it takes to replace such part, on V6 with transverse engine is particularly difficult, I confess I didn’t know catalytic could be clean without taking it out, thanks for the video 👍💪

@horacesawyer24878 ай бұрын
Very good. Thinking the combination of all efforts culminated to success. Also, sustained operation spreading the products through the system. Sustained high continuous heat with the treatment flowing for a long periods is key. Drive the car on highway for an hour or two sustained continuous and that should produce better results. Just running around town stops and starts, or a few miles here or there is not as effective. Get the juices flowing! Thanks for the video! And I just noticed, you have 300k on that MDX? What an amazing vehicle. How long have you had it and miles when you bought it? Mostly city driving?
@deicibao8 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. These MDX are strong like a tank. I drove it in a blizzard and it was solid and steady. I use it as a road trip car and drive a smaller car in the city. I follow the maintenance schedule and garage it overnight and in bad weather. The alternator is the only critical part that has ever failed and I replaced it woth another Denso. I feel like these could go 500k miles on original engine and transmission.💪💪💪

Not sure what happened for your situation. Possibly the code was a fluke to begin with, but as others have pointed out, a bad gas cap can NOT cause a P1457. It's not related to the pressure in the tank at all. I have the factory service manual right in front of me as I type this. Also, boys and girls, don't do your Honda dirty. Go OEM, don't buy aftermarket trash like carquest. Whenever a part is half the cost of the original one, it's for a good reason. Keep that in mind.
@deicibao11 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching. The carquest cap has been working fine. Usually I use OEM but I was far from the dealer that day. Also, these Honda’s are made to survive 3rd world countries where there is no OEM parts available. You don’t always need OEM on non safety parts.✌️

Hello, the Thule rack is plug and play on the CRV. I have been using it for years and had zero issues. They are priced higher but it’s worth the extra cost because the strap does not break and metal does not bend You could find used ones on market place for a lower cost. . I mounted 2 adult bikes and zero issues with the spare tire. Please feel free to buy which ever brand makes you happy. Thanks for watching!
