I saw it anchored in Punta del Este, Uruguay, a few days ago. Before getting close I thought it was a military ship. It's at the same time beautiful and scary. Why call Pink Shadow a green ship? I see that it charters for about $600k usd a week plus expenses. Just filling the tank (5000 nm range) is out of my budget.

Good job in terms of interior design,. However why are explorer yachts not intended for extreme climates built like modern supply ships or modern fishing boats? I simply don't see the practical side to it. Neither do I find it visually pleasing. I say this coming from a family of ship builders and sea men that either have built vessels for the weathered Norwegian coast or sailed along the same coastline. Yes I do understand why those ships have a high bow. but why building the high tower in front and a long low deck in the rear when there is no need for it. would in not be more stylish to build the boat like a small ocean liner?
