I learned a lot from this great tutorial! Everything is crystal clear! Just want to point out that at 2:26:20 the YTD Sales doesn't match the Total Sales column because it has a filter which includes only weekday sales. I got confused at first and went back a few minutes and found the filter that he set in the YTD Sales measure.

I studied Python pandas and Power BI in last some days. I can see there is very little that you can achieve with python code and not with Power BI. there is not much difference in term of achieving results. building dashboard is more easier with Power Bi

Hmmm, interesting video, and I learned some things, so thanks for that. 🙂 I come from an Enterpise Reporting background and I can't help but think that this workflow/example is for trivial/simple report examples produced by end users for themselves or a small team. Data Source control/governance in this example is nothing short of a nightmare. No discussion of security/access control, object level or row level(RLS). No discussion of report production/distribution automation (batches, auto subs, scheduled runs, report bursting). No discussion of automated subscriptions or multi-report distributions from a single subscription. No discussion of multi-page layouts, multi-report booklet compilations, conditional columns/formats, conditional layouts based off target rendering type (HTML, PDF, XLS, CSV). I hope Report Builder is fully featured enought to be a serious enterprise reporting platform.

I have only watched the first hour or so of this video, but I can tell already that it is so much easier to follow than any of the other training videos I have watched for PowerBI. I followed everything exactly as shown. But my image is not rendering in the email. I added alt text so it’s showing text only not image. I copied the output for body and verified on online html editor. There everything is perfect. So the data and variable is correct but still the image is not loading. Can anyone help?

Video is awesome, Great Explaination, Easy to Understand. I do believe that one more thing needs to added to these tutorial videos, that is, If while mentioning the table name and particular attribute, a simple hovering of cursor or any highlight can be done then that would be great. what happens is that it becomes difficult for the listener to catch up with the concepts while looking out for which table and column the tutor is talking about. Very subtle thing but i believe it will improve the attentiveness of the listener. Thanks for the awesome video.

I’ve worked at companies where the workload was 7-8 hrs a day and others where 3 are enough, you are bound to doodle around in a company pc unless you don’t care about being inactive, also adding to the fact that even if you are not working on anything specific you still need to be attentive

Love your videos! I am trying to filter a gallery based on a username's email being on a site location column, so that user can only see records related to that specific site location. So far I've lost countless hours of sleep, gone through hours of videos, but I'm still unable to do it. I have managed to do it if the user is only on one location, but not for multiple locations. Any help? Please 😅
