If I have the seeds that came from a big Wisteria bush outside, can I store the seeds dry for a while since I’m not ready to produce new plants yet? I’m mostly wondering if the seeds will go bad. Thank you for the video.

Thank you for your lovely videos !!I need your kind support....My bonsai ficus had only growth on one branch for 3 yrs now, but now even that is gone bad :( I think I overwatered & there seems to be root rot (one of the root is soft to touch) I changed the soil already & now I have not watered it for over a week, all the leaves turned yellow-brown (burnt like) and fell off, even the baby leaves shed? what should I do? 😢even after not watering for a week the soil is not completely dry inside but not wet, hope these details can help see the situation, if you could please help me help my bonsai :'(

Many thanks for this very informative video. I got a Wisteria seed kit for myself and unfortunately it did not sprout. I followed the instructions but my seed rotted. So, I've bought some seeds and have set them in water just now (25th September 24) and I'll update my comment as time progresses. Hopefully more luck this time

*Update* 4th October 2024 My Wisteria have not germinated yet. I've done everything by this video and nothing has happened as of yet. I'll leave the seeds in the jar, giving them fresh air evety other day. I'll keep posting updates as they come

I couldn't find a follow up video regarding the various pot sizes for growth. Did you do one? I just purchased a ponytail palm with 4 in the pot, so will split, but am curious how it worked out for the various pot sizes.

Can I keep them narrow & small ? I have a metal vase that had glass/ acrylic inside which broke. I cut a coconut fiber mat to fit as the vase is 12 " deep but very narrow point at bottom, then it pumps out to about 4" and narrows again ( bottle necks to about 3" then flares again to 4" ring at top. I thought I might fill half way with crushed stone then soil mix. The other pieces I'll leave in a bigger pot.

I'm brand new to bonsai. The first tree I am growing is a wisteria. This was a big help. My plant is 3 weeks old and is barely 4 inches high. I'm guessing that is from my soil choice

I've watched this video a few times now over the last couple years, such a neat idea. I soon hope to see some updates of your trees at least, I understand you might be too busy for YT. Hope you are doing well Stefan.

Dear sir, could you please tell us which season to plant them in the garden? Is it okay to plant them in August and let the plant dry out in late automn? I live in Montreal, Canada. Does the young plant withstand the Canadian winter? Thank you for answering my questions.

Hello the Yucca plant Whisperer .... Im in the UK and have a container grown 7ft Yucca in an open porchway. It grew too tall and bent right over from the top . I cut the top leafy part off to make it straight again . Its taken a while to recover and now has a few pups growing from the trunk. Should i start feeding it yet and with what? How regularly should i water it in the summer and should i water it until the water flows out from the bottom of the container and how often should i top up the soil???? 🙏

Question -- could you have left some of the roots above the selected root plane on the tree above ground and planted the tips to make aerial roots? Or will you progressively raise the tree so that the selected root plane becomes exposed as nebari and aerial roots?

Jades are resilient plants. Good thing. The 'soil' you provided looks a lot more like gravel than soil. Once acclimated, my jades love full summer sunlight. I can't imagine them being sunburned by grow lights. It's been a couple of years since this video was posted. I hope the jade is doing well.

Be careful. It is a beautiful and spectacular plant but the roots are very long and will spread many yards/metres away from the main plant.
