All the best.

wot's ya mission with those steel poles... checking for rust, or making sure peeing dogs are safe from electrocution?
@southaussiejack5582 ай бұрын
Hi Ann, We check for rust or other maintenance issues. Of the thousands of steel poles I have checked over time there has only been a few that have needed replacing. There was one ''H'' iron pole that was completely rusted through the middle at the base and a tree was pushing the pole over. Not very safe with power on the pole and the pole having a slant angle of 15 degrees bending from the base. The oldest steel pole that I have inspected was stamped 1905, but it was an old railway line pole so I don't think it was erected in 1905 as they used anything they could get their hands on in the early days. As for the dogs it's more about not stepping in dog shit around the pole. Cheers Jack

@@southaussiejack558 Thanks Jack! Bloddy dogs... fancy crapping where you pee! I wonder if etsa's ancestor used to nick old railway track they found lying around. It does sometimes turn up in strange places. Do stobies get an automatic clean bill of health, because of the concrete content... or is that a different assurance setup done by someone else??

Glad you like your bike and i wish you many safe miles of enjoyment .
@southaussiejack5583 ай бұрын
Hi Mick, I'm sure you will love the bike, nice color and cool mods. I was thinking of pull back handlebar extensions for it but I do like the arm chair ride at the moment. The swing arm bag is a great idea because there is no storage on the bike for anything. I was thinking of a handlebar bag for basic items. Stay safe and use your cruise control. Watch out for people who want to take your photo as they charge big money for the privilege.

Well at least now I know where all the deforestation support is coming from. 😑 Great job destroying the only thing keeping water in the ground in Australia: the forests.
@southaussiejack5584 ай бұрын
Why would you spend a few hundred thousand taxpayer dollars to build a lookout, car and bus parking for everyone to come and enjoy the beautiful views and then plant large trees to block it all out. Sort of defeats the purpose don't you think. I love the trees, forests and nature and you've jumped on some bandwagon about deforestation support and destroying the only thing keeping water in the ground. Why don't you and the other idiots plant lower growing shrubs around the lookout and this would serve both purposes.

Hi there! So your head circumference is between 60~61cm, and you got a 3XL sized helmet.... Wow!!! Based on the LS2 sizing guide, the best fit for you should be an XL. My head is 58.4, and was thinking about getting the L size. Do you think the LS2 Storm is true size fit? Now, I am confused, should I get XL instead of L sized one? Thank you for reading this comment and questions :)
@southaussiejack5586 ай бұрын
Hi mrjuvenalify, that's why you should not buy off the internet without going into a store and trying them on. I certainly don't think the LS2 Storm is a true fit but then none of them are with any brand. I have found that most things like my leather jacket, I would normally take a 2XL and ended up getting a 5XL from Rhinoleather. Motor bike pants were way different as well. So save yourself the hassle of having to return items and try them on in a store first. Trust me you do not want to get a helmet that is too tight a fit as it will end up giving you a head ache. cheers from South Aussie Jack

Hi Duncan, my eyebrow / round head measurement is 60 cm. I like my helmets to be a bit bigger otherwise I find they press hard against my forehead and cheeks and I am forever pushing the helmet up to relieve the pressure. I have found this helmet to be one of the most comfortable lids I have had.

@southaussiejack5587 ай бұрын
hi la linea bellissima, it does not say anything on the box about long oval or intermediate oval shape, i just tried all the different helmets and this one fit the best for me. i was in the store for over 3 hours as they said wear the different helmets for 10 minutes or more to properly make up your mind. the helmets here in adelaide had a price range from $130au to $1600au for the top spec helmets with bluetooth. mine cost approx $300 from memory and was at the low end. it has a PO number : LS22202-1/2AU and model number : LS2 FF800 STORM SOLID. i originally wanted a lift up helmet like my old one but none fit comfortably and this one was the best by far for me. i love the pinlock visor which stops the fogging in the helmet when you stop at traffic lights. would highly recommend and i will buy again. cheers from South Aussie Jack

@southaussiejack55810 ай бұрын
Hi dt9019, Always had big jap bikes when I was younger but after witnessing a crash right in front of me in 1984 I sold my Kwaka 1100 a month later and swore I would never buy another road bike. I realised how big a clown I was on my big road bikes, lane filtering at 100kph between cars stopped at traffic lights, I was young and invincible. Rode it around Australia getting it up to 245kph on the Nullarbor and going past grandma and grandpa who just pulled out of a road stop at 180kph. Travelled from from Geraldton to Broome in 10 hours(ave 200kph : complete idiot). I was an accident waiting to happen. I have always wanted a Harley and the urge became irresistible before age catches up with me and I can no longer ride. Of course I ride to live nowadays and try my best to have patience and stick to the speed limit. Cheers Jack p.s. the Fatboy is a delight to ride and I try to find any excuse I can to ride it when the sun is shining and the birds are chirping

Beautiful bike, I'm so jealous. For me I can't decide between this and the road king, I don't tour anyone. Very best of luck with her
@southaussiejack558 Жыл бұрын
Hi Dan, I don't tour anymore either so it was an easy decision for me. I sometimes just go out in the shed when its raining, take the cover off and look at the Fatboy and admire it. I will sit on it and feel how awesome it is. When the sun is shining and the birds are chirping I will look for any excuse to go for a ride and if I don't have an excuse I will make one up. Do not hesitate go out and get both. The only downside with the Fatboy for me is I don't want to put bags on the back so I wear a back pack if I need to carry small items. A couple of weeks ago I was having all sorts of problems changing the hydraulic trailer brakes on our camper trailer, then a phone call from a mate to say his mum had passed and head aches from work bullshit that was doing my head in. I fixed the brakes and sorted the work crap out, jumped on the Fatboy and had an out of body experience. As I was changing from 3rd to 4th and hit the cruise control I could feel all the hassles and problems leaving my body and I was in freedom mode. I can't explain it, I just love it and will probably add to my stable in the future. I love all the bells and whistles on the Road King but also love the simplicity of the Breakout.
