Also, I don't have any consistent operator I put for support. I just put whatever I feel like or when I decide to help someone out on Kyo's server.

@@kajetanjankowski6339 Yeah, I know. But there were only like 50 slots before. And I used to just keep everyone, but then I needed help borrowing a specific operator, so I went to ask for help. Then, I realized I can't because I'm stuck at 50 maxed friends and there was a good chunk that just hasn't logged on in a long time, 2 to 6 months. I started with the oldest and well, the "newer" ones never really returned either. I'll never know if someone is busy irl or just quit. And I loved how the community would help people. So, in turn, I rather have a larger number of slots just free and add random people to help to complete a stage here or there. And yes, I'm aware it increased to 100, so I don't have that problem right now. Just a disclaimer when it gets filled up. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Can't have everything. Sorry if that offended you.

Top Operator + Robot will not even work, lol. Robot requires 3:50 or lower, opening only 1-4 stars. Top Operator requires you to have 4:00 or higher. If I recall correctly, if you try something like Top Op and Senior Op, Top Op will have priority. With this as a basis, we can say Top Op will always have priority during "conflicting" tags.

I forgot the name of the pack but it was introduced during the second Rainbow Six Siege collab with Ela (Operation Lucent Arrowhead). As it's just a pack purchasable in the shop, I believe it was available for purchase at the beginning of Operation Lucent Arrowhead and continued to the end of the rerun of Operation Originium Dust (Ash). The pack cost $26 USD and it contained the UI, 1 Ten Pull HH ticket, and 15 or 18 OP. It's not the worst value. Iirc, it's still slightly better than the monthly HH pack. But it's still expensive for just an UI. Feel free to correct me as I'm just going off my memory.

I believe we still have like a week of free pulls? It's usually a total 14 free pulls. You also have the daily ore, I think on average, you'll get like 500 Orundum? So, that's like 3500? or almost 3600. If we round up, that's like 13 pulls total? Maybe more? But Arknights pull generation for F2P players are pretty harsh. HSR banners are much longer, so often times you can get it if you're just missing a few. Try to do any side stories you missed. Remember to do your recruitments and then exchange for gold tickets and see if you can salvage any.

Haha, sorry. I think I didn't explain myself. I mean you should chase what you like and not necessarily non-limited meta banners, like Typhon or Degenbrecher. If the banner happens to align both your interest and meta, then that's absolutely great. But otherwise, you may end up getting these characters later on since Arknights "pity" system is pretty bad. Hypergryph throws the limited FOMO thing at us, making us want to just collect limited we may or may not use. And because it's basically 1/3 chance, there's actually no hard cap to our bad luck. There's no hard pity or 50/50 like Genshin/HSR. Our only savior was the spark at 300 pulls and now the free copy at 300 pulls. And whenever you do 300, you're kind of bound to get lots of off-banner so your chances of getting the non-limited meta operators aren't that bad. And my example here was Typhon. In a previous limited banner, I got Reed Alter, whom I already pulled on her banner. As for me? I like W and Wis'adel. That's simply it. I think it was last year? I sparked W during Mumu banner. Whether she was the most meta or OP character doesn't matter matter to me. And yeah, I am a victim of the FOMO limited operator thing. I basically always try to do 300 for limited banners, lol. I did it for Texas Alter, Chongyue, Eyjaberry, I don't know who else.

The grind isn't necessarily how to "beat" the grinding stages. It's I need to click each grinding stage manually. Yes, I'm spoiled. For example, I want to grind the event stages or the rank up materials. They both cost 20 energy and we can grind via 1 of 3 ways. 1. Manually and hit auto battle. 2. Use the "skip battle" via deploying a number of characters (limited by the number of built characters you have). 3. Use the "skip battle" via the Octopus thingy (limited resource). If I have 360 energy from the whole day, I'll be sitting here doing very little and hitting start new battle 18 times... Arknights was worse. You only had option 1 for the longest time, lol. But, now, they do allow up to 6 continuous auto deploys. So, you set up the number of times you want to auto battle and hit start, it'll just continuously do that. You won't have to come back every few minutes. R99 allows up 1 run to equal up to 4 runs. So, you watch it auto play once but it counts as up to 4 times. HSR allows up to 6 times for the low cost farming stages (10 energy) and individual repeats for the more expensive ones (30-40 energy).

@@ikyiAlter there is a point when all your characters are gonna be level 60 + the talents trees can be completed, after that you just need to beat the stage 3 stars - 1 time and you can just sweep after that.

@@rafresendenrafresenden.1644 I mean that's what I mean, the sweeping function is #2 and #3. But you are correct. If you build every single character then you will have a big enough army to keep on using the sweep function. Unfortunately, I didn't last enough to build them all, lol.

I suggest joining a server and going to their "ask help" channel to ask for tips and whatnot. My go to one is Kyo's. He's very famous for making Arknights guides. The peeps there are friendly. To answer your questions and to point out a few things. 1. The 3 star Kroos is generally said to be the "best" E1 sniper between all 3 stars and 4 stars. So, Meteor has her niche uses or certain stages you want the def shred, but usually Kroos is "sufficient". Kyo usually make low end squads with mostly 3 stars and 1-2 6 stars. The Marksman subclass for Snipers are kind of "dead" because of their low attack and later enemies have higher and higher defense. You'll need up needing quite a few buffers to help. I believe the "best" Sniper is Wis'adel, then Typhon, then Pozy, then Exusiai and the rest of the good ones are either a slightly worse version of the previous, a little niche or limited (e.g. Schwarz, Ch'en Alter, Rosa, Fiammetta). 2. It's funny because the "best" class is technically "guard". And there are a few operators from other classes you can argue for "guards" too (e.g. Penance from Defender, Horn from Defender). There was a huge talk about guardification of Arknights operator classes. 3. I am not a free to play player and I've been playing a bit over 2 years. I buy the monthly pass for orundum and the monthly headhunting permit. I also never trade in gold/yellow certificates for operators and trade them for headhunting permits. You want to save up to 258 or 260 gold certificates before you start trading them in because it starts from 1 permit to 10x permits at the end. And it refreshes monthly, so you only want to do it all at once. Of all the packs or top ups, the best value ones, from best to worst, are the monthly pass, all the "first time packs except the originite prime ones", the anniversary or collab packs and then lastly, monthly headhunting packs. The basic top up packs (originite prime ones) are usually not worth it. If you have the first time bonus, then it's better but still. That's basically why and how I saved up so much. But if you're free to play, I suggest picking a 4 star operator to E2, maybe like Myrtle and just follow Kyo guides for a while by borrowing help. Due to the way Arknights gacha rate works, I highly advise against pulling on anything but limited/anniversary banners or the "joint banners". I lost 50/50 5 whole times in this video. That's how bad it is. And when you lose a 50/50, you gamble between 70+ operators. I've had a few times where I pulled on a new operator banner and then a month or two later, I was pulling on the anniversary one and I got a dupe of the new operator I got before. If you look at my Chongyue or Eyja Alter banner, I had to pull to 200+ near 300 for them. That's how bad it was. And with 300 pulls, I'm going to randomly pull on a few of those 70+ operators and if you're lucky, you'll get one you want, or not. The joint banners limit you to 3-4 operators, so if they're good and you don't have them, go for it. Likewise, if you're new, chasing for the operators in the gold certificate shop might be a good idea. NFZen does prediction videos on what's the next shoperator. You can youtube him. Lastly, if you have hobby money, don't feel bad about "wasting" it on a gacha game. Just look at how many hours you spend vs a $60 Switch game. Heck, let's say you only get games at 50% off. Okay, so it's a $30 game but how many hours can you play from it. Main story is 10 hours? with up to 60 hours of additional stuff? How many hours did you spend in Arknights in a month? Just spend responsibly and think of it as "supporting the game" instead of "gachaing/gambling".

I actually use a mix between English, Japanese and Cantonese for Ch'en, Hoshiguma, etc. This is one aspect I love about Arknights, I can pick and choose what language I want for each specific operator/character. ^___^
