I’ve only seen this done once it was on an old Russian or Ukrainian government channel the lady used a garment valet stand and hung the threads in the same way she has done here.

Somewhere between folding the last triangle and cutting it into a cone...it's like there's a step missing. It doesn't make sense. Like the last fold isn't shown or something.

What do you think about using a ring binder clip (100 for $8) as a floss drop and put them on a steel cable loop in numerical order? Then you can insert a new color without having to shift each color down one. And, it takes up much less storage space. You can use packing take to secure the number on the ring or buy electric cable labeling tags to write the number on.

I’m wondering if you could use plastic bread tags for labeling the DNC number in the hanger between each color?

This system is ok for threads supplied in kits where you don’t know the brand or number, otherwise you will be stuck when it comes to buying more of the same.

I just bought Annie's Keepers. Same sort of thing...but much more versatile and you can stick stickers on it with symbol etc. If you don't want to pay the money...your organizer is a good way.

interesting, but the plate with the color number does not keep it together with the thread? Sorry for my English but I'm Italian....😋

The number is not really needed for crafts like friendship bracelets, more actual embroidery
