Yeah its just an absolute blast, with the exception of waiting for elevators and such lol. Love the Unknown boss mechanics and it's design and the run through the level is fun too.

The two mechanical bosses in the middle can see a mistake, but the last two enemies are too amazing, I also guessed that I will use another physical technique in the end.

Yeah just aim on landing after the cover hop but it only works when we don't trigger AR while in the air first. ✌

Yeah using efficient tactics and having good movement routes is much more important on God Hard in comparison to other difficulties. ✌

@@ZikosRealm Yeah I have been a bit absent, but I am doing pretty good, just been a bit busy. Also, when I started playing this game I was on Windows 8.1 lol, and as that went end of life I switched to Linux. And LiveSplit autosplitter is the only thing that didn't work on Linux for me after switching, so I can't to full runs with removed load time, but maybe I could do some IL stuff. I do software development for college courses and some other projects so the tools I use the most are easier to install/use on Linux than Windows actually.

@SamOnKBD Good to hear you're doing well man. 👍 Is there really no decent alternative for the autosplitter that works with Linux? I don't have any experience playing on pc but maybe some people over at the speedrun forum would be able to help you out or provide a solution. Yeah it would be cool to see you play again sometime in the future whenever you feel like it.

Hey dude! Sometimes I notice in your videos that after a melee attack, you still have the energy to use a jetpack or hit someone else. I see this especially often during your battle with 2x Zaitsev, and even your tutorial didn't give me the answer to the question. I've been playing for 10 hours, I want to learn how to play as professionally as you do.

Hey man what's good. Sam gets unrestricted acces to melee when the limiters are released which only happens shortly after destroying one of the Bogey bro's in the final chapter. It's a one time only story related thing. The current suit is a prototype which is prone to overheating and the limiters are put into place to prevent Sam from pushing it to far. Besides unrestricted melee, the suit also boosts faster and gets a longer AR bar.

@ Yeah this technique is called ''backflip whiff'' by the community. Spacing the backflip melee from a specific distance, just out of range to actually make contact, allows us to melee Romanov's, missiles and grenades without overheating the suit. There is a playlist with tutorials on my channel if you're interested in learning more about the game.

Yeah they really throw players in the deep end from the get go with this intro. Right, the uphill battle, act 3-1, and the 4-3 checkpoint with the snipers, group of blues and drill Romanov's are equally challenging as well. Thanks man

I don’t know why, but out of all the difficulty modes, God Hard feels that it was designed for the ones who understand the game’s depth and mechanics. As you need to be creative to survive. Doing the same cover and shoot tactics won’t get you far in this mode where it did on normal and hard.

Yeah I'd love to see a sequel or spiritual successor. Don't think there's currently anything remotely like Vanquish but in recent memory I had a blast with Armored Core VI, Returnal and the first Gunvolt Chronicles Luminous Avenger. You might also like some of the more movement based fps games like Ultrakill, Ghostrunner, Doom Eternal or Trepang2, or tps indies like Rollerblade or the upcoming Rapid. 🙏Thanks and have a good one! ✌

I want to mention that Assault Rifle and HMG can quickly cancel into any other gun immediately for a quick gun combo. Also the shotgun can separate the cocking from the shooting with "Roll/dodge shots" for fast shots while moving (Hold down gun button while rolling with shotgun). And Rolling can cancel into cover and emediately into another roll, so you can roll super fast alongside walls multiple times (Easiest way is to do a sliding input from the cover button to roll button over and over.).

Yeah all the animation cancels add a lot of depth to the game and a lot of tricks and tactics revolve around that ability to cancel out of recovery frames. Ah yeah the cover wall bounce. Nice. I messed around with it sometimes. Gives good i-frames if you're in a pinch. ✌
