You can get a liberal in landowners by using corn laws.

Aggressive coordination is good for calling in powerful members into any war you want. The power block members can expand really fast that way. Another use is for high infamy WC, the reduced wargoal maneuver cost and a reckless leader pretty much means that you can just full annex every war.

I can explain aggressive coordination and market unification. Aggressive coordination is good because it allows you to call in power block members into any kind of war. Personally I abuse the hell of this when I was a subject of France trying to get beaten but not defeated. I could just continuously call them to help me against Russia , it’s really good if you’re in a power block and want to expand or if you have a powerful subject. And market unification is good if you Want a customs union but not the trade league identity

One issue I find with the Mexican war is that in the more recent patches, Mexico is more likely to back down.

Well that went terrible, gave obligations to France as that was the only way they would accept trade, Mexican war started going down hill since the UK jumped in our their side, and Whigs lost the election. Tried several times but Britian joins the war everytime, how can I prevent that?

An unwanted piece of advice: I think early universal suffrage + homestead is a mistake. Yes, you get rid of landlord but by putting another obstacle in the way: the ruralfolk. Advanced research is straight up the best. Works for each country. Big country? You can research military tech to destroy everyone. Small country? Society techs for bonuses. Backwards country? Tech spread will massively help you catch up. Imo the best of all.
